After reading the reviews of Pooch Playhouse, and visiting the facility, I was convinced that it was the perfect place to board my geriatric dog. I booked 8 nights, and dropped him off. When I arrived to pick my dog up, he was limping. I asked what happened and the staff said they hadn't noticed he was even limping. Okay, he's an old dog, maybe he is just sore from lack of exercise, or too much exercise. Then they handed me his "report card". Only 4 of the 8 days were accounted for, and there was no indication anywhere that he had gotten his daily medicine (other than the bill). Maybe they just need to work out the kinks, but thre's no way their target clientele will be satisfied paying premium prices without the premium care.

Pros: Clean, Convenient Location

Cons: Inconsistent, Not what you'd expect from the price

Dear Sir or Madam: We are sorry to read that your experience with Pooch Playhouse & Boarding was not for you’re a 100% satisfactory. Unfortunately, because we are not sure exactly the specific dog and situation, we will address this as follows. 1) We greatly apologize about the report card and not what happened but that the issue has been addressed. 2) As far as the Medication not being on the report card we keep it as a separate log. This log is normally not given to the client unless requested. This log is kept in the client’s file for future reference and history of boarding. We would be happy to give any client a copy at their request. 3) Lastly, the limping issue, the staff at Pooch Playhouse is very observant of all the dogs that are boarding. They always alert management if there is a physical issue that arises when a dog is in our care. Again we are a cage free environment and without knowing the exact dog it is hard to say what may have caused the limp. We take all

Our Goldendoodle Maggie has a blast at Pooch Playhouse! When she sees her red leash brought out of the garage, she will enthusiastically try to help us get her hooked up and make a beeline for the car. She is very social, and will try to play with any dog, ANY size. Her first playmate at Pooch Playhouse was a full-sized Great Dane, twice her size. She tried to get him to follow her down the little doggie slide, and playfully splashed in her water bowl, trying to get him to reciprocate. She adores her "doggy camp" at Pooch Playhouse. WE are comforted with the fact that we can leave her there, even if just for a half day while doing errands, and she will be kept clean, safe, be able to socialize with other dogs, and our house does not get torn apart while we are away. Best of all, we can leave her in a fun, safe place while away on vacation, and pick her up bathed, groomed, and looking great! The staff obviously love animals, and are very attentive, and very good with our girl. She even learned some obedience skills during her first stay. I heartily recommend Pooch Playhouse to any TN dog owner.

Pros: Great staff; impecably clean kennels, entertaining for our pet, awesome service

Cons: a little pricey, but worth it
