Best Ethnic Food in The Nashville Area. Period.. Imagine you're grandmother was from Iran and served all her best family recipies. That's Genie's. Great entrees, homemade hummus, feta cheese and butter. Excellent desserts.

A Nashville must. Where do I start. As stated in other reviews as soon as we walked in the door we were asked if it was our first time and given a tour of everything. They have made a few changes for the better in some of the things. They now make their own feta, yogurt, hummus and churn their own butter. I'm southern and well butter is something I grew up with so I know my butter. They have some of the best butter I've ever eaten. The feta is the best I've ever had. I have to agree with everyone else in saying you have to try the fesenjan, a fantastic dish of ground chicken, ground walnuts and pomegranate. We went for the dinner buffet and the value is unbelievable. Where else can you get all you can eat braised lamb shanks. There wasn't a dish I didn't like that I tried. I did skip the salmon dish because I don't like salmon but my wife said it was great. All three of the desserts were fantastic. Genies is definitely going to be one of our regular stops when we to to Nashville. We live about three hours away and I'd seriously consider making that drive just to go to Genies it's so good.

Persian food is heaven!. I love this place. But the editorial review is hilarious. "arabian music" lol. Its a persian restaurant and they had persian music. thats like going to pizza hut and hearing mexican music or going to eat chinese food and being told you're going to hear indian music. haha.

Food, Family, Love! The GEM of Brentwood!!. Coming from the west coast with tasty ethnic restaurants on about every corner....my mind and tastebuds were missing the good ole day's in California....UNTIL TODAY!!! My husband and I found our new favorite spot, Genie's Persian Palace! It is so good that I had to take sometime to write a review on city search.

The food here is a true labor of love. Talk about fresh, full of flavor, and variety....and best of all the buffet is all day long and into the night! No need to feel you have to beat the lunch rush. Fresh food is always being served up on the buffet. The family takes great pride in their food and you will see. If you've never had Persian food, no problem, the family will take you on a tour of the buffet so you see all of the mouth-watering choices. The service is outstanding and you really feel the love at Genie's! And I learned..it's BYOB..with no corkage fee!!

I tried dishes today that I've never even have had at the Persian eateries in CA! Talk about a treat!! Oh,and save room for dessert, that's included as part of the buffet as well! All this for under $11 per person! WOW...I'll be going back real soon :)

Genie's has become our favorite restaurant in the Nashville-Franklin area.. We are so glad we found Genie's. When you go, go hungry. It has a large selection on the food bar so take just a little of each food so you can try everything. We love the lamb shanks. They can make eggplant taste wonderful. If you're going on a Saturday night, go early, because it fills up quickly.
