Best restaurant for a great experience. I Love Corner Pub Midtown! The staff there is so friendly and accommodating and their food is always good, fresh, and affordable. I am a regular and love seeing that they have put in a patio out back to move the party outside on nice nights. They have great drink specials, and a fun drink called a Do Do Bird that is to die for. This week they have a Masters Golf Tournament contest going on for a chance to win a golf weekend trip. Last month it was a March Madness Brackets contest for a chance to win a HDTV. There is always something fun going on at this Corner Pub! Love it!

Terrible Management, please go somewhere else!. Please, everyone, DO NOT GO TO CORNER PUB. Of all the bars in the area, there is no reason to choose Corner Pub over the others. Some better ideas: Broadway Brewhouse, Winners, Losers, Rack Room, Melrose, etc. Just please don’t go to Corner Pub. They don’t deserve your business.

The manager’s name is Jeff and he is NOT good at his job. Since a waitress never took our order after about 40 minutes of waiting (we had to order at the bar instead), I asked another waiter if she could send the manager over to our table. So she did, and it was not a pleasant experience, to say the least. Instead of apologizing, Jeff was a defensive schmuck from the get-go and was extremely patronizing. After about a 5-minute conversation, he called my friend a “motherf-er” and asked us to leave the bar. What kind of customer service manager calls their customers names, much less curses at them? Obviously, that’s quite offensive. So we left and he sent the bouncer to follow us out. That’s right, he sent the 6’5” and 240 lb. bouncer to follow three sober and insulted customers out of the place to make a scene. What a douche!

To be fair, I don’t think Jeff is used to solving real problems and I understand that you can only expect so much from a middle-aged country bumpkin who runs a sports bar. His communication skills are clearly lacking and I’m sensitive to that. I’m sure he usually offers a free shot and the problem goes away. He also might have had a terrible week and took it out on us. Regardless, you can’t curse at your customers and get away with it. That’s just not okay.

As a fellow consumer, please don’t give them business. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Never go here.. I never write citysearch reviews, but after multiple BAD experiences with CP2, I felt the need to warn any unsuspecting patrons. I would hate for anyone from out of town to think this poorly-managed excuse for a sports bar represents such a great city.

1st experience: Waitress changes channel of tv my friends and I are watching MID GAME. When asked why, she said "Those guys asked me to". There was two of them, ten of us. Makes no sense to me.

2nd experience: Group of 10. $50 worth of shots "appear" on my tab. When I disputed charges, I was asked by a meathead to pay my tab and leave. I've got some cash in my wallet - you want that too, thief?

3rd experience: Group of 6. We show up before our game started. Sit in front of tv with a sign taped to it saying our game will be on that tv... until 5 mins left in 2nd quarter. Fathead changes channel. "Why'd you do that?", I ask. "Your game's on over there." Points across bar. Thanks genius. I'm not sitting there, and there aren't any available seats. Check please. Let's go to the Crow's nest.

My best guess is that this is one of those establishments ran by some kid with no experience whose parents had the money to help him out. Bars and restaurants like this have no place in Nashville, and I doubt this one will be open forever. Don't go.

Oh yeah. Don't eat the "Hot Chicken Chunks". You'll regret it. Trust me.

What a Fun Place To Watch Football. We just had the most fun ever at The Corner Pub Midtown last night watching the games. So they had both college games as well as the Titans preseason games, and by the end of the games it turned into just one big party! I will definately be back, I understand that they really rock during the UT games.
