Definitely worth it!. We tried out Demo's on July 4th of this year. Luckily we arrived before the rush and we were promptly seated; however there was a long line when we left.

My companion order the spaghetti and meatballs; which was delicious with at least five flavorful meatballs (most places you get three if you are lucky). I ordered the meat sauce spaghetti which was good, but not great and I wish I had ordered the meatball spaghetti instead. The bread basket held some DELICIOUS homemade bread, yum!

The house salads were a disappointment though. We are talking straight out of the bag salad with no tomato, no cheese, croutons or anything extra whatsoever. The ranch dressing was runny as though it was watered down.

The service was good, my soda was refilled promptly and we did not wait long for our food. The atmosphere is upper level casual dining, but not a stuffy attitude.

The prices were very reasonable though. We had the two entrees, two beers and a soda for about $28.00.

Excellent Food, Service, Price!!! You MUST Try it!!. After 5 long hot days at the CMA fest, it was our last meal before we were headed out of town. I told our group about the lady I had met the day before in the crazy long line at Jack's Bar B Que. She spoke very highly of Demos' and said that I MUST try it. So I said let's give it a try. We tried several different types or restaurants while there and by far this was the BEST. Jack's has nothing on Demos'. Ironically we stood in line at Jack's for over an hour. We spent almost $30 for 2 people to eat there and the food was not that great - We spent $20 at Demos' for 2 people and were stuffed when we left and it was the best food I have had in a long time. I had the Blackend Chicken Pasta and it was beyond great. Their bread is also phenomenal. I cannot say how pleased I was with the food and service, as it would take more space than this. All I can tell you, is that it is the best value around town. Great service, food, just excellent.

Great Food and Service!!!!!!!. We always make a point to eat at Demos' when we are in Nashville for a concert. It is close to everything downtown and has great food and service! The blackened chicken pasta sauce is to die for!!! The chicken and rice soup is great too!!! I like the steak medalions with onions and peppers! Yum!!!! Can't wait to go back and I live out of town!!!

Impressive Service, Affordable Price. This is the perfect locale for Italian food that doesn't overcharge for hype like Amerigo. The service was impeccable; I've never been served faster anywhere, anytime (excluding fast food). I can easily recommend this place to anyone.

Compition submitting reviews. The food is outstanding! No, I don't own the place. I am a customer who is offended by these BIAS reviews. I have been eating there for years and have never had a bad meal, bad service or a unsanatary enviorment. Demos is one of the BEST steakhouses in Nashville. The other reviews have to be from the compition or these people wouldn't know food if they tasted it

very average Italian food. The food was very average and uninteresting. I love Italian food and have been to many Italian restaurants in many cities. Even for a family style restaurant I was not impressed.

Top Five WORST meals of my life.. I truly wish that there were a rating that was LOWER than poor.

This was truly one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. It is not Italian food in any way, in fact, it hardly passed for food.

I was absolutely starving and it was right there and I made a terrible mistake.

Totally disgusting and revolting food in a dirty, slimy environment. It was like eating at the bus station if the bus station were even dirtier than it is.



A terrible waste of time and money. I still can't believe that there were people eating there and enjoying it.

What can I do to erase that meal from my memory?

This is a place that I would actually pay them money to NOT eat there.

Horrible.

Great food, Great Service and Cheap!. This place is very reasonable. They also bring as much bread as you want and the service was great. Their special was only $4.25!! Not a super large portion, but you also got a side salad. If your down on broadway check it out!
