be aware of these guys.... In summary, it took the plumber 3 days to complete the job. It was almost like the company had one guy on call for the entire weekend.
GREAT. The plumber that came to my house was great, very helpful! If I owned a plumbing company I'd steal him!
BEWARE - DONT USE. Don't use. They did a terrible job, I was left with bigger issues. I WOULD NOT recomend. They charged me three times more then originally priced. Save yourself the headache now. The sewer connection has been a nightmare and many in neighborhood who has used them are upset.
Extremely Thoughtful. Wentworth Plumbing installed our sewer connection and not only were we pleased with the work they did, but they were so courteous and professional. We had such an awesome experience, that as a gift of gratitude for our business, the owner sent us a $50 gift certificate to our favorite restaurant. We certainly enjoyed that and appreciate the thoughtfulness. We have referred all of our neighbors to use Wentworth for any needs they might have too!
Great Service. Wentworth was suggested to me by a friend and I have now used them twice. My experience has always been great and the price was about right, just what I had expected to pay.
Definately recommend.
Original contact, prompt and professional. Wentworth insisted that all public utilities "sign off" on digging before then would begin. That's professional.
Workers were competent, courteous, both military veterans, worked with industry for long hours and did not leave until the job was done at 6:30 p.m. Wentworth did a fine job of repair; Tom Smythe Plumbing never contacted me. Total HVAC & Plumbing sent a "rough & tumble" guy who did not perform a thorough investigation of the problem and called me with an "estimate" that was 300% higher than Wentworth. I would recommend Wentworth to others
Extremely Satisfied. Our sewer installation job was completely finished in one day! The work crew was courtious and knowledgable. The trench dug in the yard was very narrow and filled in completely, nice and neat. Workers had to take up a small fence to work in the area and they replaced it perfectly! THANKS :)
Horrible Customer Service.
This is the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. I called Wentworth Plumbing to fix noises from my pipes. They deduced it was my PRV valve. They replaced my PRV which at the time was on a pipe connected to my water heater. Didn’t work. He then got frustrated, accused me of the noise, and tried to convince me that I needed a second PRV. I refused. He called his supervisor who deduced that he needed to relocate the PRV to the main line under the house. Didn’t work. Finally his supervisor came in and concluded that the noise was coming from my water meter and had nothing to do with the PRV.
One year later I noticed that my water usage was much higher than it was a year ago. My new plumber checked the pressure and was shocked... it read 110 (should be 50)! He went to the crawl space where the Wentworth plumber told me he installed it. He comes out: "There isn't a PRV under here!" The guys at Wentworth had never installed it! They charged me over $400 for a job they never did!
Needless to say I called Wentworth. The representative on the other line, who also was the owner, denied any wrongdoing. He claimed "That's impossible" he was condescending and told me that I didn't know what I was talking about.
THE CONVERSATION FEATURED SUCH MEMERABLE QUOTES AS: “YOU CAN’T JUDGE A COMPANY BY IT’S EMPLOYEES” AND “I DON’T CARE ABOUT THE BetBusBur”!
Finally I convinced him to send another plumber to confirm there was no PRV. He installed one and left. I called Wentworth to ask for my labor costs back… the least they could do. They refused and denied any wrongdoing! I had a girl on the line telling me that it didn't matter!
Her words: "We installed it didn't we?" Me: "I went a year with no PRV valve, higher water costs, and there's no telling what kind of permanent damage has been done to my pipes!" Her: "Yeah but we installed it... so you're trying to get something for free!" At this point I just lost it and hung up the phone before I could go off on her.
Wentworth plumbing is exactly what's wrong with American business today. A sense of entitlement with no accountability for poor service. They use a "workmanship guarantee" on their website as a cheap advertising slogan, but I assure you it is not a policy they follow. The last thing you want to worry about in a bad economy where you have to fear for your job is your plumber ripping you off and acting as though it's not a serious issue.
Honest, reasonable priced, professional plumber. 5 stars is not enough!! We found Wentworth through the citisearch, so you never know what you are going to get. The service manager took care of our plumbing nightmare! He was wonderful, honest and wasn't here to pad the bill. I would recommend them to everyone! Very reasonable pricing. Very professional.
quick to come, but thats all.... i didnt have hot water so i called these guys out to check it. although they were quick to come, im wondering about their business practices. the service man got out of the truck, walked over to my water heater and immediately said it was both elements and the thermostat that needed to be replaced without even opening up the unit. he quoted me over $300. i said that was outrageous and that i didnt want that overpriced service. but heres the catch, they charge you $39 just for driving out to your house to give you a quote, even if they dont even touch anything. i guess its my fault since i did call them and asked about how much over the phone-which they keep saying we have to send someone out for that. be aware of this kind of service. so after he ripped my $39 off, i had to call another guy who only charged me $75 for replacing the top element and adjusting the temp and said that the bottom and thermostat was working. im not sure about what "good" business practice is, but its definitely not this. i would have gave one star but since they were fast to come, i gave them 2 for that reason only.
