My favorite Thai place!. This place isn't much on atmosphere, but the food is fantastic! It has become one of my 'haunts'. :)

The staff is always happy to see you and the place is as clean as a pin. And you can't beat the prices!

If you like spicy food, try the Beef Kata or the Panang Curry (with chicken). And be sure to ask if they have any rice pudding made (it's not on the menu)...it's not what you think, and they make it with coconut milk. Delicious!

Best Thai in Nashville. Looks can be deceiving. I have driven by this place on various occassions and never thought to stop in based on its location. But I'm glad I did. I have been there over 10 times now and it's been great every time.

Their lunch is fantastic (as is their dinner). It is quick whether you are dining in or ordering take-out. The food is just as good if not better than other Thai restaurants (and I've tried many). The people are always friendly and extremely nice. You would expect small portions for its price, but that is not the case. I have a hearty appetite and it has always managed to fill me up. Thai Kitchen has exceeded my expectations on all fronts.

I would also recommend trying the Thai iced tea or Thai iced coffee. Next time you're in the area, check it out and you won't regret it.

Real Thai taste. My favorite place while I spent 4 years in Nashville. I don't eat western food so I cook. After I know this place, I stop cooking because I can get the taste of Thai food while spend the same amount of money.

The owner (also the chef) is very nice.

I love this place!. Great place. Its been here forever. I've been eating here since 1999. The name has changed from rice bowl to Thai Kitchen, but the same people still own it. They are very nice. Always so freindly to me. They always smile and sometimes throw in free extra stuff.

The curries are wonderful. Very fragrant and flavorful. Also great primeminister chicken, garlic chicken, general Tso chicken. Great hot and sour soup! Its one of my favorites.

The lunch specials have always been the cheapest I could find in that area. You get a huge portion of very tasty food an egg roll, and a soup for a very low price.

And they're just really good people.

Love this place!

Great food at a very reasonable price!. The food here is always great! I especially recommend the garlic chicken! Lunch is the best time to go because the food is freshest and you can't beat the prices! around $5 for a full meal that also doubles as dinner because it's so much. The soup is really good, too. And the curry is excellent!

It especially made me happy when they switched from serving to-go orders in styrofoam containers :)

Number 1 in my book. I have been coming to this place for a year now...at least 1-2 a WEEK! I love it! And I'm pretty sure they know me now...even though they try to speak Thai to me...but i don't know any. Anyway, everything is reasonably prices with good portions! There's been a handful in the last year that the food was maybe watered down...but we can't always be perfect. If you want authentic...this is the place. I say don't order at night because it seems like you get the stuff that was made for the whole day...so be aware. Lunch time is always the best time to get something!

Best Thai Food in Nashville. Having spent several weeks in Thailand, I know that Thai Kitchen is one of the most authentic places in Nashville. The food makes me feel like I'm back in Thailand! They routinely make things mild to suit western tastes, but if you want something spicy tell them "ow ped ped"... or add some of the chilis in fish sauce or other condiments available in the fridge. Fantastic service and great food. And like other reviewers have said, it's a thai restaurant... so skip the chinese food and try something thai! Some things to try are the green curry w/ veggies, noodle soup, or the "big bowl" of Tom Yum.,

One of my favorites in Nashville. I have eaten at this place off and on for years. Even though I haven't lived in Nashville for more than 20 years now, I make it a point to stop by the Thai Kitchen whenever I'm in town. If you like Thai food, this is the place to get real Thai without the unneeded decorating frills. You'll just find good food, freshly cooked, and simply presented. I'm going there tonight!

Good Thai food at a great price!. This little "hole in the wall" exceeded my expectations.

The Pad Thai had good flavor and a decent portion size for a little over 5 dollars.

The Spring Rolls however were straight out of the freezer and were 90% cabbage.

I will definitely eat here again and look forward to trying other dishes.
