I love the salon Shine, the atmosphere is friendly and fun. It's very relaxing, and I love the fact that they don't juggle clients, yet they always seem to find a way to fit me in. I always love my cut and color and Melanie ROCKS!!!

Being new in town, I decided to try Shine based on the excellent reviews. Suzanne was booked for months, however, so I let them pick a stylist for me. The salon was nice, but the area around my stylist's chair was not cleaned before I arrived, nor was it cleaned at any point during my visit. There was a LOT of hair. This may have been because my stylist was sick and didn't feel like cleaning up. She said she felt like she had the flu. I wish she would've just postponed our appt. My haircut was fine. She offered no suggestions on anything new, so I just went with a very basic cut. I then had a single-process color that, again, was fine. Definitely not the best I've had. I spent nearly $200 and it was not worth that. I won't be going back.
Pros: good location; prompt service; no pressure to purchase products
Cons: not clean; haircut and color weren't great; expensive
