Out of Business – This company is closed and out business, with an eviction notice posted July 2008. I am a vendor that he wrote a bad check to and did not make it good for around $400. His vehicle was takend back by lender and sold, and he has other court appearances where he was sued for unpaid bills. My loss. Needs to be removed from Citisearch database. owner Ray Awalt Jr.
Avoid at all costs! – I have to agree with the previous review. This is by far the worst company I've ever had to deal with--in my case, I contracted them to put on awning on my back porch. From there things just went from bad to worse. I paid 1/2 of the total balance when we ordered the fabric and was told that they'd do the install in 2-4 weeks. About 3 months (and many phone calls) later, they finally showed & threw the awning up over the next two days.
It hasn't even been a year and the fabric is already sagging and has a hole in one section. I've called them repeatedly & gotten excuse after excuse, and they have yet to fix the hole in the fabric. It's now painfully obvious that I'm also going to have to file a complaint to get any kind of response. Aside from all this, everyone that works at this business doesn't seem to have a clue what they're doing, and they have more turnover than McDonald's. I've spoken with numerous people there and have had them promise to come out by a certain date (which they never do, of course), and when I call back a week later, I'm told "he/she doesn't work here anymore."
PLEASE spare yourself the trouble and don't do business with these people!
Worst company I have ever dealt with! – I can not tell you what a horrible experience I had with Innovative Sign and Awning. They put my signs up two days late after the date on contract which delayed my store opening. The words were too small on the sign and they had to re-do them after I called and called and called them. They wouldn't return my phone calls and when I did get them on the phone I was told they would be out on a specific date, which they never showed. This happened multiple times. They basically told me they were working on replacing all of the signs for a large drugstore chain and I would just have to wait. I finally had to file a complaint with the State to get anything done. When they took my signs down to replace the wording they lost my letters from the readerboard. I asked them to replace them and they refused. Every time I put letters on my readerboard, they fall off with the slightest gust of wind. I have sent an email asking them to please adjust the sign or tell me what to do and have had no response. This is by FAR the worst company I have ever dealt with. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. Their website talks about working for small businesses, I can assure you this isn't the case. I have given them every opportunity to fix my signs and make me a somewhat half way satisfied customer, and they could care less. If you use this company, please consider yourself warned.
