Disappointed - Oil Change. On March 3, 2012, I went into Sears Automotive for an oil change on my truck. I used a coupon specifying a certain price for the full service, which was my first mistake. Even with the coupon, the clerk added all sorts of extra charges on the bill. I thought that was deceptive. Two days before the oil change, I put new mats in the truck. When they changed the oil, they got oil on my new mats.

The worse was yet to come however. I had my relative look at my truck engine a couple of days later. He noticed the wrong oil filter was installed. After looking at what the right filter looked like, it was obvious I had the wrong filter. It is too small of a filter for the size engine. When I went to give Sears feedback on the whole experience on their feedback page, the page was not operating -- Under Construction.

Do not go to Sears if you want any quality automotive service done.
