The time and effort Amber put in to helping my fiance with his ring selection and my ring was top notch. Even when she knew we were going to look at Genesis she still continued to help me later over the phone to get exactly what I wanted. Lady at Genesis in Franklin, not so much!
Nothing but good. I had a great experience at Shane Co. I lost track of how many times I looked at rings, because I was nervous about the purchase. But Bryan was always professional and helpful. I finally settled on a ring and even then I would "visit" it. All the salespeople were more than kind and told me all their brides visit their rings. We also got my husband's ring at Shane and they special-ordered it in his size. He loves his ring and I really love mine. I could have bought a diamond anywhere but would have paid way more--and gotten way less. Plus I get the bi-annual cleaning, prong check and rhodium plating if needed. I can also upgrade later for a bigger stone or different setting and my full purchase price will apply (if I double my original purchase price) which is nice. And did I mention how many times I get stopped and asked about my ring? Even at a bridal show--and there were a lot of rings there--girls would stop and ask to look at it. Honestly, it's the best deal in town.

I have been in Shane Co several times and I have to say the poor reviews on this site have not been my experience at all. Every time I go, I am greeted promptly by friendly staff who are more than happy to show me things even when I am only there to have my rings cleaned. I have never had any problems with my jewelry and any time my rings need to be cleaned or polished, they take good care of me!
I have shopped for gifts and for myself and Shane Co has a wide variety of items and their prices are great. I highly recommend you go there and see for yourself.

The story started as a romantic tale, it ended with discussing with incompetent sales staff.... I purchased a very nice engagement ring for my girlfriend at Shane co. The service was great, the staff was friendly and the product was ready in time and looked as promised. As satisfied customers we went back to purchase our wedding bands. One of the things we were looking for was to have our initials and wedding date engraved in the rings. They told us that was no problem and that they did that all the time. We purchased the rings initially without engraving because we had not determined a wedding date. Recently we went back for engraving. The sales person this time told us they could not engrave my girlfriend's ring because it was too narrow. They told me they could not engrave my ring because it was Tungsten. You should know that we discussed these things in detail when we bought the rings and it was not going to be a problem at that time. The original sales person (when we bought the rings) joined the discussion together with another woman. They concluded they could engrave both rings and we could pick them up a week later. Today we picked up the rings. The engraving was done in both rings over the mark that guarantees the rings quality. I have to admit they agreed to reimburse us for the engraving, of course we will have life long our wedding bands with the engraving partially unreadable because of the mark. I personally find it unacceptable for a jewelry store not to be more knowledgeable about expensive products like jewelry. They feel that they can get their way out with cheap excuses with I find acceptable for a grocery store, not for a jewelry store. Consider Shane co if you need a product that you buy as is. Stay away from them if modifications are necessary... You will save yourself a lot of driving back and forward and a lot of frustration. If you like hearing cheap excuses though, Shane co is the place to be.

Poor service .... Felt ignored both times I went into the store. The second time someone managed to help me, the pressure was more than a car lot. I guess you can still shop here to compare prices, but don't bring your girl because these folks are hardcore sales people. I wouldn't buy anything from them personally.
don't shop anywhere else!. I love Shane Co! They are honest and straightforward with you, not pushy at all. I have bought all my nice jewelry from there- wedding and engagement rings, diamond studs, sapphire ring, etc. I've only had one problem with my earring backs and they were very helpful in getting it fixed. I would never shop anywhere else! Also, great prices and great policies, expecially the trade-in policy!
