Still not a single problem here. This place has always been SOLID for us. We are Hermitage residents and go to Sakura 3, maybe 4 times a year. (And have been going there since it opened) My 7 yr old son LOVES the shrimp and my 9 yr old daughter LOVES the chicken. And it's 1 of the few places that they enjoy the soup and the salad.

The food is always good. The service has always been good. And the servings have always been plentiful.

I would recommend Sakura to anyone wanting to try something "different".

My only issue is that I ALWAYS order the Filet because it is ALWAYS so good. Would love to try the scallops sometime.

Worse experience ever. I have been going to Sakura for years. I absolutely use to love that place. Last night was the last time I will ever go to Sakura. To start, my boyfriend ordered the bento box with no vegetables and wanted extra fried rice. He did not get the vegetables but he didn't get the fried rice either. Second, my daughter and her friend ordered the steak off of the kids menu. My daughter wanted fries instead of rice, the waitress wouuld not substitute the two so I ordered fries on the side. When my daughter got her food she got the fries but we didn't get the rice so I had to ask the waitress to bring me the rice. Lastly, when I got the check I was SHOCKED. The waitress did not order my daugher and her friend the kids menu, it was the price of an adult meal. I was so disgusted that I did not leave that waitress a tip and I will NEVER go back. The waitress did not ever try to make things better.

SAKURA IS BACK!!. I went to Sakura at the end of May and the service and food were ok, nothing special. Recently, a friend went in and said the service had vastly improved and that the new management is making changes to continue the improvement, so I had to see it for myself. Upon walking in you could tell the difference almost immediately, the restaurant was spotless, the food was delicious and the waitstaff attentive. The hibachi chef we had was entertaining and accomodating to the special food requests and the sushi i ordered tasted fresh and came before the hibachi making everyone else jealous! :)

I will definitely be going back and can't wait to try some of the other rolls on their menu!!

Will not go back. My wife used to live there a couple years ago and would eat there all the time. We recently returned for a visit and wanted to eat there. As soon as we walked in we knew something was different. It looked dirty. And we noticed the food wasn't near as good plus the cook wouldn't be quiet long enough for me to talk to my wife. Douing the meal the cook told us that it was under new management. We don't get the chance to come to town very often and next time I don't think we'll waste our time for mediocre food.

I won't go back. I went there on Saturday evening with 13 other people. I wouldn't even give it one star but this site makes me. Several issues. 1. I ordered Steak and Mahi Mahi. The fish was awful! Too fishy. Two other people at my table also tried it to see if it was good, and they said it was awful too! I told the waitress and she said she would take it to the manager. To make a long story short (because I had to wait for about 30 minutes to get my ticket back), the manager gave me a huge attitude and took $1, yes ONE dollar off my ticket. She said there was nothing else she could do. Bull*&^%^!!!!! I don't know how she became a manager, but she sucks at it.

2. Two of us who tried to Mahi Mahi have been sick since then.

3. One of the kids at our table did not get his food (chicken fingers and french fries). The waitress had forgotten to order it! She brought it to him after everyone else was done eating, and it looked like little popcorn shrimp...they were so little.

4. The waitress put that chicken finger meal on one of the single guy's tickets that was sitting across the table from him.

5. One other person never received a ticket at all. I guess Sakura got what they deserved. His meal was very expensive (2 orders of sushi, steak and lobster, Saki, etc).

We will never be back at this place. They need some help! I guess that explains why the parking lot was pretty bare on a Saturday night......
