Better than expected. My girfriend took me here. As a southerner, she's something of a fried chicken connoisseur. Personally, it usually all tastes the same to me. But I must say, this is the ONE place she's taken me to with the usual "fried chicken tenders" theme that I liked. Everything was FRESH and tasty. The sauces I had were really good too, if a bit rich-tasting. But I don't eat it everyday, so a little rich every now and again is fine by me.

Definitely one of the better chicken joints, and light-years better than places like Otters.

Tasty Chicken. Today was my first experience to try Maniacs. I will tell you that their chicken is really tasty. I wasn't super happy with my salad. I don't care much for the "spring mix" greens. I think that's what it's called. I call it the "weed salad". Anyways, it was one of those weed salads. It literally had pieces of greens the size of maple trees and they don't provide you with a knife! So I had to leave half of my salad b/c it wouldn't have been pretty trying to shove massive pieces of lettuce in my mouth! BUT like I said the chicken( which they are specializing in) is really really good! If you choose to get the salad, request extra chicken on it because there wasn't enough! I will more than likely give it another shot.

Great Food!!. Their Chicken is quality tasting, and VERY moist! I love their different take on "fried" they have a tempura battered chicken option that is so tasty! I love that you have a lot of sauce options to choose from, which is especially great if you have children who don't want what you want!

They have a decent amount of menu options! Their fries are the best! They definitely beat out other chicken/wing places we've tried in the area!

We've been twice now, but will be going back quite often!

Where's the sauce?. This was my second attempt at Maniac's. I was a bit confused with the sauces the first time I ordered and had dry wing's and ranch dressing when I got back to work. Today I just ordered them the way they come. I got dry wing's with a watery, sweet red (buffalo/bbq?) sauce and some ranch. I opened up the box before I left and asked the girl if they tossed their wings. She said they do on request but most people prefer them this way. The only reason i can see is because the sauce was so lacking in spice or flavor and so watery that there was no way it sticks to the wings. So today I more or less had dry wings with ranch again. Oh and cold fries.

I will say they place was packed at 1:15pm.

The Salad is the best EVER!. I've worked in the Cool Springs area for the past 4 years, and wish I would have discovered this place sooner. With all of the chicken places around here, the Maniac's salad really sets this place apart. Juicy broiled chicken on fresh mixed greens with spicy sweet pecans. Top it off with the homemade ranch dressing, and it's a winner for sure. Also try the Texas eggrolls for a change of pace.

Sadly, our office is moving further South, so I won't be able to enjoy this place as much as I do now.

Great Attitudes, and great chicken. It is all delicious.. I eat there once a week for lunch at least. It is wonderful. Beats Otters any day for good quick chicken in Cool Springs.
