It's real easy to join, all sorts of things are"coming soon"...not! Cancel requires a certified letter to God knows where because they keep charging you any way. Do not fall for the bs they promise and be prepared to pay for life! I am furious and want my money to be stopped from being taken from my account!!!!!!!!!!!! I followed all of the cancel policies and it doesn't matter they still take your money. There should be minus stars to rate this place!

This place is a huge moneymaking scam. I was a member for a year and watched this gym go downhill steadily. The equipment is almost always broken and they seem to be lowering what standards they had just to get memberships in. Sometimes I felt like I need a gun for protection from some of the other patrons. The most important part to me is the fact that I broke my back and canceled my membership due to the inability to go to tthe gym. The billing company rejected my medical documentation and has hounded me ever since for back dues. I guess I should have known something was going on when all the trainers were jumping ship to get away from this company. Definitely stay away there is no way out of the contract. I have even recently heard that a client who passed away had his family charged for the remaining duration of his contract. Scam artists!

Nice Facilities

Overall I've been very satisfied with Urban Active. The locker rooms are clean, and there is plenty of equipment. I'm very pleased with the women only workout rooms, it's nice to work out in semi-privacy. I haven't tried any of the classes yet, but I know they have a lot of personal trainers available. Overall a solid four stars.

Stay away from all Urban Active locations.
