My husband and I were in Nashville for a weekend together. We were excited to reserve a room at the Big Bungalow based on how beautiful and close to downtown the website portrayed it. We exited off the interstate based on the directions on the Big Bungalow's website and found us to be in the middle of what appeared to be a very bad part of town. We were hoping there was some distance still to be traveled to get to the B&B, but found it just to be a block away. We drove around the area to explore and see how safe we felt. We clocked the distance to downtown to be 1 mile and what appeared to be very unsafe. Certainly somewhere my husband and I did not feel safe walking around. We felt the website was very misleading as Mrs. Warshaw states the B&B is "within walking distance" to The Country Music Hall of Fame, The Wildhorse Saloon, and more. Wow, we strongly felt the distance was far, and unsafe. We phoned Mrs. Warshaw to cancel our reservation as her website was completely misleading and misrepresenting of the B&B. She admitted no one walks at night and it is "very urban". Despite our unhappiness, she proceeded to still charge us one night. I would not recommend this B&B!
Cons: Not within walking distance as stated on website. Located in very bad part of town.
