In Short – Vintage hot dog signs line the walls at this cozy spot, adding flair to the blue walls and red tile floor. Customers can sit at counters or outdoors at picnic tables. The crowd ranges from businessmen in suits to others who stop by wearing jeans or shorts. Dogs are named by city: the Boston comes with beans and the New York with sauerkraut. Bratwursts, Polish sausages and chili cheese fries are also popular. –
Not Diggin' It

How anyone can compare these hot dogs to a true Chicago Style Hot Dog is beyond me. They do not even have the poppy seed buns that are a "must" for a Chicago hot dog. The fries are thick and probably would have been good except that mine tasted like they had been cooked in very old grease. I wasn't impressed with the food at this restaurant at all.
- Pros: Have a variety of hot dogs.
- Cons: Nothing like Chicago style dogs.
Great dogs, not so good location or seating.

We made the trek from Portland, TN just to have lunch here a couple of weeks ago and the dogs were great! The fries were good too, and we liked the little paper bags that they came in. The location is not the greatest, but we went on a cold Saturday and parking was not an issue. Seating on the other hand was pretty rough. During summer it would be ok, given that you can sit on the patio and enjoy their dogs.
Overall crowded building, but great dogs!! I guess now that I think about it, in Chicago the best dogs are sold on the streets, so try these and forget about seating!
- Pros: Easy...Good hot dogs!!
- Cons: Small building.
Great hot dogs!

Hot Diggity Dog is located near downtown in a area you wouldn't exactly expect a restaurant to be, but the building is colorful and inviting and the hot dogs are delicious. I highly recommend the The Nashville hot dog with mustard, onion, and coleslaw. It is not to be passed up. They offer chips and greasey fries to go with your weiners. They do offer vegetarian dogs, but unfortunately not turkey dogs. The parking is somewhat limited as is the seating, so get there early.
- Pros: Hot dogs and outside picnic tables.
- Cons: Limited parking and seating and no turkey dogs.
