The Best.

Background: My fiance and I were relocating to Nashville from New Orleans on short notice. We were crammed for time, could only find pet-friendly lodging (local events were going on) at a lower end motel, and had a modest first-time home buyer budget. After a friend-of-a-friend fell through, I found April on City Search. I was initially reluctant to go with a realtor based solely on internet feedback, but I'm so glad I did!

April and her team went above and beyond what we could've hoped for. We wanted a place that was within a 25 minute commute of downtown, had plenty of greenspace where we could bring our dogs (ideally a lake for our lab!), and a safe community. April introduced us to the Old Hickory Village area, which was a perfect fit for our needs-- complete with lake access! April understood our apprehensions about investing in a house early on in our professional lives, and helped guide us toward a place that is as historically established as it gets and was within the lower range of our budget.

Unlike other realtors we spoke with, she placed our needs first. Rather than trying to convince us of what we should want, she showed us a ton of different areas and genuinely listened to our response. With our time-pressured situation, she went out of her way to make sure we weren't rushed into buying something toward the upper end of our budget, or something that didn't fit our "wishlist". Throughout early negotiations and closing she represented our interests with a ferocious (yet gracious) tenacity. She made our first-time home buying experience an enjoyable one, and we couldn't recommend her more highly.

A Great Realtor...

My husband and I just bought our first home and from day one April was there to help us!! April "held our hand" from the first time we met her to the closing of our new home!! With April we were treated as if we had a million dollar budget, she was available anytime of day and was always ready to help answer questions or to show a home. She was always willing to work around our schedule and meet early in the morning or later in the evening, on weekends or weekdays!!!

Honest Realty in a Harsh Reality

As first time home buyers, we were very excited, but also very unsure of the process. After a nightmare experience with another Nashville realty team, and a bank who lost our loan application, we were referred to April by a relative who had found her on CitySearch. It was hard to believe she was really going to help us the way that she promised, but she truly did. She even went above and beyond what anyone else would do. Her team is AMAZING! When we found a property we liked, and wanted to see more pictures, her assistant was able to find more, and e mail them to us -- just instant results and satisfaction all around. She referred us to an incredibly knowledgeable lender, David Porter, He let us know that obtaining our loan would not be a problem. Absolutely thrilled and astounded, we asked what the next step was! He said to go find a house...and that we did! April showed us all the houses we were interested in, and pointed out the good and bad in each one. We finally found the perfect house for our family and we wrote up an offer. She knows all the ins and outs of contracts, and negotiated an AMAZING deal for us, which included appliances, furniture, curtains, and closing costs-- over $5000 in consessions! During closing, we were actually handed a $500 check (a refund of the "earnest money") because she had negotiated so well, that ALL the fees were taken care of! How many people can say that?

Which ever side you're on -- buying or selling -- you will want April on YOUR side!

This whole experience with April has been life changing. She is an amazing, hard working, and gifted woman. The perfect mix of warm and friendly, and professional. She is truly one of a kind. We consider her a friend for life!
