Good Asian Food. Food in Fulin's in Brentwood is great. Even they bring you sample of the food if it's first time you're there, but food is never warm enough. Some foods doesn't have enough garlic and spiciness, like Chicken in Garlic Sauce.

Place is clean. Dishes are clean, but cold. Place need to be refreshed daily that food smell from kitchen don't disturb people. However, I like this place because I love Asian Cuisine, and I would suggest this place to people who wants to try Asian Cuisine!

Delicious!. I've always had a good experience at Fulin's in Brentwood. I usually go for dinner and order the chicken in garlic sauce or the kung pao chicken and brown rice. Both are delicious. The lunch menu is also a great value. You can order your usual dish, and it comes with soup, salad, and an eggroll. All for under $10. Yummy! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I wish thier Japenese menu included "cooked" entries like chicken terryiaki. But this place is great!

My Favorite Place!. I have eaten at this restaurant MANY times, and have never been disappointed. The service is wonderful, the food, delicious!

If I ever want to celebrate or just want a wonderful meal, this is the FIRST place to go. The sesame chicken is my favorite, and I just love the salad.

Thanks Fulin's, for moving into my neighborhood!!!!

Great place for asian food. Food was great. Service was good. I ordered a seafood combo that did not seem to have all of the seafood that I thought would be in it. Mentioned it to the server and they brought me out an additional plate of scallops & veggies. The waitress could have been more friendly, but the chef who brought out the add'l scallops was sweet. The cold draft at our table affected the overall experience.

Best sushi/sashimi chef in Nashville!. Great food. Brilliant sushi - presented very artisticly - and the best sake in town. Great atmosphere and a truly friendly staff. I'd recommend Fulin's to anyone.

Worst dining experience EVER. I will never go back to the Fulins in Brentwood area. It was honestly the worst dining experience I have ever had. I thought that I was on a hidden camera show. The waitress was clueless. She knew NOTHING about the menu and everyone around us who ordered after us got their food BEFORE us and all I had was soup and salad!! At one point the waitress took our drinks (to get refills I presume) and never brought our drinks back!! She got mad at US for asking about our food and why it had been almost an hour and we had not gotton it. It was rediculous. NEVER NEVER NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Double Check Your Bill. Horrible Service! Had a problem with the bill... we received three different bills with different totals. It took what seemed an eternity to get the invoice fixed. The food was ok but the service was so horrible that I will never go back again.

average food, bad service. Fulin's is a lovely restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The menu is HUGE. I ordered wonton soup and 2 sushi rolls. The wonton soup was not the best but not terrible. The broth was good but the wontons were gummy. The sushi was average. All in all the food was not bad. The service, however, was lacking. Our server seemed to be inexperienced and very absent minded. When we were there the restaurant was practically empty, so it's not like the server had a bunch of other tables to attend to. I would think twice about going at a crowded time because the server might forget about you completely! I will most likely go back to try some other menu items, but I will not have great expectations about the service.

The police heard our case.... to continue my story, 20 minutes later,as all eight of us were about to leave, the waiter arrives with another plate of sashimi for my husband. Disguusted with the whole fiasco, he refused the food, sending it back to the kitchen with the explanation that everyone else had already finished and it was too late. WELL...when our tab arrived, we had been charged for both of the inital orders (which I had eaten since they were put in front of me on MY plate) AND the third order of sashimi that had been sent back. I knew that my husband would stand on principal, and not wanting to make a scene, I took the receipt to the manager to try to reason with him quietly. As I was explaining to him that a mistake had occured (diplomacy at its best), in walks the police!! The "owner" had called them! My husband immediately came over to us and we were escorted into the ALLEY to discuss the bill. Our friends waited inside, while for thirty minutes, the officers went from one side of the alley to the other getting all of the stories- from us and the manager. Ultimately, they told the manager that he should COMP ALL our food but we should pay for the drinks. By then, I had had two glasses of wine and he had had two beers ( we were there 2 hours by then). My husband paid the tab. We were all a little frazzled by then, since we had never been treated in this manner! To try to humiliate us further, the manager stated (to the police) that he did not feel that we should drive home -due to the drinks. Augh! We just wanted to be far far away from there! One of our friends gladly volunteered to drive our car home. I am now forced to drive by that establishment every day, and am constantly reminded of that horrible experience. People who know absolutely nothing about grace and hospitality should NOT be in the restaurant buliness. I feel certain that the Chineese people would be appalled to have their culture acociated with such a substandard level of service.

Fulin's. I only got togo, but they were still very helpful and the hostess spoke English very well. The menu is very expansive and not too expensive, and didn't take very long at all to come out after I ordered. The food was still very hot and delicious when I got home 15 minutes later and came in generous portions.

We WON'T go back!. My boyfriend and I was there on the 16th and had an awful experience. He had some extra money that day and wanted to treat me to a nice dinner. We both had Fulin's once before and the food was decent and the service was good. We were seated by the manager as soon as we walked in.

We ordered a couple cocktails and an appetizer and ordered our entrees. After waiting about 15 minutes we finally get our appetizer. We were both starving. About 25 minutes after we got our appetizers our food still had not shown up. We had ordered a second round of drinks (that was a wait too since we almost went to the bar to get the drinks ourselves). So after some complaints to our waitress, she explained that she has been having a horrible time with the cooks about her food and the problem has been going on all night. She proceeded to cry a bit in frustration.

Right before we were about to just leave and pay for our drinks our food arrived. It's almost been an hour.... so I bit my tongue and just decided it was better to eat it and leave. Well, my first bite of food was barely luke warm. I asked for the manager and the same person who seated came back. We told him about our wait, our lack of service, and the waitress experience with the cooks. He suggested that he takes my food back and will warm it on a wok (I'm chinese). He did not offer any sort of apology nor concession. At that time my boyfriend told him we were leaving. We did not come to a decent restaurant to wait this long and spent $40 on liquor so that our food can be cold.

Please take my advice; there are better places to dine!

Quickly became "our restaurant"!. We love Fulin's! The food is great with a balanced selection. We especially love the "Joy Roll" and their "Kung Pao Chicken". We are always seated promptly and love the service. The staff recognized us on our 2nd visit and since then we have become "regulars". They even closed off the bar for us so we could host a private function (no charge). Modern, relaxed decor that is romantic enough for a date but also great for a group. My only complaint is that the "to go" food is usually a little trimmed down so I highly recommend eating in as opposed to getting food to go.

WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER. It has taken me a full week to try and come up with words to describe my dining experience at Fulin's. And yet I can only come up with WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER! And I do mean ever. Our group of four ate there last Saturday night. We were seated in 5 minutes and at the time we felt lucky to not have to wait. Now I know it's because no one else wanted to eat there. First of all we waited about 10 minutes for our drink order to be taken and another 20 to actually get them. After ordering and then subsequently waiting an additional hour for our APPETIZER we began to ask for assistance. During this time, our drinks were NEVER refilled. The hostess asked the manager to come by our table. She didn't have anything nice to say, only "what did you have?" We got our appetizer soon after. Thirty minutes later two people at the table got to eat their meals. Finally after 2 full hours at the table we again stopped someone walking by and asked about the remaining food. The manager again came to the table and we were met with hostility and attitude. Needless to say we were speechless. I was beyond hungry and upset to the point that I was repulsed once the food finally arrived. And the best part is that the manager refused to compensate us for all the mistakes and waiting. She treated us like we didn't even have a valid issue. I think she mistakenly felt that we were only complaining to get free food. I felt judged and disrespected. Sickness waived over me after handing over $70 to that woman and this restaurant.

Terrible dining and customer service experience. Unfortunately, it only takes one awful experience to offset any good experiences at a restaurant. I have been to Fulin's about four times in the past few months. The atmosphere is nice and the food is pretty good. Recently, I went with a group of four coworkers. It ended up being one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. Because of this one experience, I will never go back. Service was bad across the entire time of our meal. This was not due to lack of staff or the restaurant being excessively busy.

The experience was capped by a wait of well over thirty minutes to get our check paid. After much insistence, we were finally given our cards back and were told that we wouldn't be charged. The next day I had two separate charges totaling $64 on my bank card for what at most should have been a $9 lunch.

Our experience went like this: excessive wait for drinks, excessive wait for food orders, excessive wait for food (which came in waves spread out over about ten minutes instead of everyones at once), excessive wait for check, excessive wait for our cards back, and cards getting confused and bills being charged to the wrong people. While we were waiting for the checks, I also saw one of the waiters spoon something out of someone's soup while they were coming out of the kitchen. I found that quite nasty as well.

If you have the patience of Job, feel free to check this place out. Otherwise, I would recommend going somewhere else.

Pleasant Surprise in Nashville. My fiance is Chinese and we recently moved to Nashville from the Los Angeles Area. Being that he is very used to exceptional Chinese food, he has been extremely disappointed in what Nashville had to offer. After many disappointments we finally went to Fulin's and he had low expectations since it seemed like it may be a little to nice to have authentic Chinese food. To our surprise it was wonderful. The food is the most authentic we have found and they even had a special Chinese menu all written in Chinese with even more traditional dishes that are not typically ordered by the average American. We were quite impressed and now frequent their often. It can be slightly pricy but well worth it. The sushi is also above average. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is looking for an authentic meal.
