This place is great--I was suprised!. We are from Nashville and thought this would be a tourist trap, but it was actually delightful! I had the best piece of blackened grouper I have ever had, and my hubby's catfish was excellent. If you sit by the pond/waterfall you can watch the fish swim around. If you are not put off by hunting/fishing you will love the place, and the food is amazing. We normally do sushi and ethnic hole in the wall type places, but we will now add this to our favorites. Enjoy!
Inspired by campsites set along the river in the nearby hills, this Southern-themed restaurant delivers both fun and fish..
If the moose, deer and bear taxidermy don't give it away, patrons will know they're in a cabin replica as soon as they see the red truck parked in the dining room. Families and couples especially enjoy the corner near the pond and waterfall. The menu lives up to that campy standard, with fried or grilled fresh catfish, blackened grouper and trout almandine. But the fish-phobic will be happy with roasted chicken or pot roast.
