Do Not Go Here If You Ever Loved Your Pet

My husband and I were completely devastated when we realized we were going to have to let our beloved Schnauzer of 15 years pass. As difficult a decision as it was we were drawn to a lovely website for pet cremation with Nashville Pet Crematory. Unfortunately, the website was completely misleading. We decided to drop by on Sunday afternoon to discuss possible cremation on Monday. First we arrived at this metal warehouse type building and the door was open with no one to greet grieving families. There were bottles of all kinds of chemicals sitting around which were disturbing enough but then I finally found a rather surly man sitting at a desk. We tried to ask questions and he shoved a pamphlet at us without explaining anything. It was obvious he did not want to be there and he offered no semblance of sympathy. Anyone could see we were in great pain and when I was inquiring about how I could be reassured that my beloved dog would have an individual cremation this hideous excuse for a human being very abruptly told me that if I didn't trust the way they did business I could take my business somewhere else. This is absolutely no way to run a business and certainly not one which deals with grief stricken people.
I cannot believe these people also handle human cremations for funeral homes. There is nothing human or humane about them.
- Pros: Absolutely Nothing
- Cons: Extremely unprofessional and totally uncaring
