Corrieri's is the best stop on 12th Ave south during the day. Walking in and getting a true Italian panini, great soup, and delightfull drink. Hold On! It gets better! Droping in after work to get some cheeses and meats from around the world for home Yummm... Since, I have no idea what half the stuff is, the entertaining and knowledgeable staff make it easy. Letting me try what I want before I buy. I even toke a date to one of thier cheese classes! Both her and I enjoyed it. It was amazing! The man giving the class can throw a party. Plus I got to meet some great people around Nashville. From what they told me a Bocce league will be starting soon. With a true Bocce court on the side of the building and the new wine shop (Vinea) on the corner. It's a true one stop shop and a little entertainment. How can you not like getting a bottle of wine and playing Bocce! Thanks Corrieri's!
Pros: The staff was knowledgeable and fun to talk to. Makes you feel like your overseas!
Cons: It's not a place for in and out service, but don't worry you don't want to leave once your in.

If you love cheese you must run, RUN, to Corrieri's. If this place closes, I'm holding you ALL personally responsible. The cheeseguys over there know their business. Even the greener among them have an adventurous palate and are eager to share their knowledge and let you taste your way to your favorites. Domestic artisanal, Italian, and Spanish seem to be their strongest points, with a couple decent French selections. The selection of cured meats also give anywhere else in Nashville a run for their money. More brilliant still is their intent to open a wine store right next door (not to mention bocce...). Surprising to me is their ownership tie to the frat-filled and culinarily uninspired (excepting the cheese and meat course- straight from Corrieri's- of course) Mafiozas. Somehow this elevates Mafiozas rather than debasing Corrieri's. Kudos.
Pros: Cheese. Glorious Cheese.
Cons: More yummy bread??
