What People Are Saying About Cabana
Featured Review

In Short – The same people responsible for the popular Sunset Grill--Randy Rayburn and Craig Clifft--are the brains behind this versatile restaurant and bar. With an eye toward adaptability, this hot locale lends itself toward mellow daytime meals, morphing into an upscale spot with frequent DJs and live music in the evening. The fare, described as "New Southern Bistro Comfort Food," consists of options like Tennessee Sliders and Chicken Wing lollipops.
Editor's Tips
- Where to Sit:
- Take your pick of booths, couches, private or semi-private cabanas with controlled audio/video, patio seating and covered open-air seating enclosed on both sides.
Great Food, Beautiful Atmosphere
by StephFletcher at Citysearch
Valentine's night, my husband and another couple ate at Cabana's and we loved it! I fully expected the food or service to suffer with the date night crowd...but everything was awesome! For starters the calamari is incredible and the crab hushpuppies were awesome. I had the Panko Crusted Sole and husband had Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Both were cooked perfect and tasted unquie and amazing. Topped off with the peanut butter pie...delicious! Must try!
And by the way, the atmosphere is fresh and cool whether you're in a cabana or at the bar. Thanks for a great Valentine's Day!
Fun upbeat, but go early for specials!

We were from out of town and we tried Cabana for the 1st time. We got there a bit late, around 8pm for the 7pm trivia, which appeared fun and packed the bar area. The host did not inform us that the pizza special was off because no more pizzas made and that was the reason we went. The pizzas are 2 for 1 along with beer. Our server told us about pizza and we were disappointed...not overly impressed with menu, but after many minutes, server says they made more dough so we could have pizza. He said it happens lots that they run out of pizza. And they are open until midnight! The pizza was incredible and the server was awesome too...everyone is happy and cheery, very upbeat. We were happy to get the pizza otherwise it would not have been a good experience. The trivia only lasts about an hour, so be on time! And get there early so you dont miss out on the pizza deals!
- Pros: Great pizza and beer deals on Sunday
- Cons: They run out of pizza early
Best Night Club in Hollsboro Village

Finally somebody decided to open up a night spot in Hillsboro Village. The music is bumping and the crowd is very interesting and unquie.
- Pros: Music and Bar Scene
- Cons: Drink Prices

While I really like the seafood entrees here (their salmon is great - and actually their chicken is pretty awesome too) it always seems to be a hassle when we order from here. The attitude of the staff is not great, even when they aren't busy. Don't bother with the fries - they just come with a watery cheese sauce and ketchup - or the ribs - they are beef tips and just gross! But the seafood stuff is really worth trying I think. Plus, you may run into a few Titans players at the bar. Overall, it's pricey with poor service and little thought for the customer but if you're good at swallowing your pride a bit, you may be able to swallow some drinks and select entrees too.
- Pros: the seafood entrees
- Cons: ribs, attitude of staff
Best Party Spot

We went to Cabana last Saturday for my friend's bachelorette party. After waiting for about 15 minutes past our reservation time, we were seated! It was worth the wait, though, because we got to sit in a cabana!! We plugged in our music (which they made us turn down a little because it was too loud). We got their fries for an appetizer...they were SOOO good. I got their salmon for my meal...it was a little sweet but very good. One girl got pizza, which looked awesome. I think I'll be going back for that! Our waiter was so funny, but it took him a little while to get to us sometimes. There were big parties all around us, so he could have been busy with all of them. After our meals, he brought the bachelorette a piece of chocolate cake--even though I was so full, it tasted so good! Drinks were good, but I was definitely feeling it the next day! Too many pitchers of sangria :) Besides some slow service at times, we had a great time. I would definitely recommend it for a birthday/bachelorette parties!
- Pros: Good ambience, good service, good food and value
- Cons: Parking, Waiting
