When I read about this restaurant I knew I had to try it as I had never tried Jamaican food. It was delicious! Hot, fresh, satisfying, and a change from the ordinary! The service was also great!
- Pros: Clean, quick service, delicious food, casual atmosphere
- Cons: None
A Great Experience

This place has great choices. If you are unsure about what something is or whether you'll like it, ask the servers - They are patient, friendly and will offer samples.
It is a little pricey for lunch (some plates + drink can cost close to $10) but definitely worth it!! The atmosphere is great with its own seating away from the general Farmer's Market seating area.
- Pros: Great selections and variety
- Cons: Not your average $5 lunch
Delicious veggie-friendly food, will be back!

We happened to find ourselves hungry on a weekday at the farmer's market, and took a chance on this place. Although I am not a vegetarian, I used to be and lean heavily toward veggie dished when I have the choice. I was prepared to eat chicken curry, but when I walked in, I discovered a wide variety of yummy veggie dishes. The young man at the counter offered sample tastes of several, and I decided on a citrus-y fake chicken dish, which was made with gluten. I had a side of fabulously strong turnip greens and cheesy mashed potatoes. The seasoning were great with everything, and the jonnycake the accompanied the meal with perfect, not greasy like they sometimes can be. If you are looking for a great vegetarian option, of which there are few in Nashville, give this a try!
- Pros: Veggie friendly, Caribbean tastes in a city that needs both.
- Cons: not open for dinner yet
