Play Dance Bar

AMAZING!!!!!. A couple of my friends and i wanted somewhere fun to go for after our senior prom, and this place sounded the best. So we went last night to get a feel for it, and it was one HELL of a good felling! Right as we walked up these two gay guys started telling how us much we were GONNA love it, and they were right! The Drag Show(my 1st one) was some of the MOST fun ive ever had! And the hostess, Deeception(i think thats how its spelled) was a-fcking-mazing!! Loved her!! The other girls were also great! And the dance floor was a little empty at first, but after the 11 oclock show ended it filled up quick. The music was GREAT and so easy to dance to. If your underage, dont go expecting to get drunk just because they have a full bar. The give you a VERY bright "Under 21" bracelet, and most people wont buy you drinks! lol But it was PLENTY fun without the alcohol! All in All, one of the best experinences of my life!! Can't wait to go back prom night!!! :D…

only if you like techo/house mixes for dancing. Every song sounded exactly like the one before and songs that should NEVER be given a house beat, were. No. Just no. I love dancing to a song, picking out the nuances etc, but with these mixes one song can't be distinguished from the one before and even my favorites were homogenized and made no longer danceable. Very frustrating.…

Over Priced/Under rated. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!. The past 10 ten years or so I have been to a far share of gay clubs around the country and i can honestly say i have had the WORST experience at play. There's a nice new dance floor and its physical building is decent that's the only positive thing i can say. But who ever runs/owns play "Dance" Club REALLY needs to consider a MASSIVE staff overhaul. The staff act like this is a Real ritzy high end kind of place And its FAR from such thing. Walking around yelling orders and such. How would you have fun in a place where people are so Uptight?!? I was over charged one of the bars and decided to speak with the manger. He is a lil guy on a HIGH horse and even BIGGER POWER TRIP. He has NO respect for anyone & walks around with an arrogant (im 25 and beautiful) attitude and would rather flirt with clients (whom are NOT interested in him) when he should be working. He basically told me if i did not like the way his club runs then i should leave..So i did..This was a couple Friday's ago. I suggest steering clear of him He's in his 40's with short dark hair super "snooty" looking. He was the last straw. I will NEVER return to this club after being treated so horrible. In fact I plan to voice my experience with a real manager or owner. A guy like that should NOT be running a club or anything for that matter! WATCH OUT @ THIS PLACE EVERYONE....It needs to be under new management AND staff Or just closed down FOR GOOD.…

Need a REAL club in Nashville. High cover charge, Drinks are overpriced, in small plastic cups. I would recomend free soda for the D Driver, $3 for a small .50 amount of soda deters them from wanting to go. The show we saw was ok I guess but alot of just walking around and taking money, not really performing. Mostly full of tweeners and straight girls wanting to make fashion statements. It seems to be the Vandy crowd's hangout since they can get in under 21. Becareful, a few friends of ours have been charged $25 on their card even if they only purchashed one drink, is the automatic charge for running a tab, unfortunately they dont share that with you prior to charging your card. I went opening wkend, and again recently and I was not impressed either times. At least Tribe has a pleasant environment, I have been going there for over 3 years and love it. At Play I had a random stranger come up and offer to sell me his script drugs, and I know from a source that they have a huge huge drug issue there. Doubt it just go out out to the smoking area you will see it first hand.…
