In Short – Parked next door to the legendary Exit/In music venue, this family restaurant serves standard Mexican-American fare. The clean dining rooms are awash in traditional bright greens, golds and pinks, and the energy level in the room is high--suitable for its location on such a busy block of live music and dive bars. The menu offers staples such as flautas, enchiladas and burritos, while drink options include frozen margaritas and sangria.
Got sick

I don't know if it was the margiritas or the fajitas or chip & salsa i ate. But i got sick after eating there. I'll never go back. The service was terrible. Don't go.
- Cons: Food got me sick, service
Parking Nightmare
by gottheboot
I joined my co-workers for a drink after work. After leaving the restaurant 45 minutes later, I discovered my car had been booted by the shady "Parking Enforcement." They stuck a piece of paper in my window with no specific information on it. The paper said they had "immobilized" my car. I had to call the number on the paper to get my car released. It was some random guy's cell phone. He pulled up in a pick up truck with nothing but a tool and a credit card machine. No uniform, no business card, no identification. He swiped my card for $50, took the boot off, and left. This is what I consider a legal form of robbery. I worked downtown for 3 years and the most I have ever paid for a parking violation is $10. I stopped for a $2 beer and wound up spending $50 for some sleaze ball to release my car. The restaurant did nothing wrong, but I will never be back. If they cared about their customers, the business owners would do something about this scam.
I have eaten there twice. Once I had Chili Colorado with very little meat and way too much garlic (and I love garlic.) The second time I had a beef taco and burrito and the beef had way too much salt

I have eaten there twice. Once I had Chili Colorado with very little meat and too much garlic (and I love garlic.) The second time I had a beef taco and beef burrito and the beef had way too much salt. I am from California and I do not recommend Fiesta Azteca.
- Pros: Great chips and salsa
- Cons: bad food
