Editorial Review for Catriona MacKechnie – by Lynn Suhrie

In Short
What lies beneath is what counts at this Meatpacking District boutique devoted to lingerie and loungewear. Among the overwhelming array of delicates selected from high-end designers, there's something for every occasion--from vampy black negligees to frilly pink panties that are feminine without being too girly. If you're dying to show off a stunning new acquisition in public, check out the store's small collection of bathing suits.

As a French expat living in NYC finding one of a kind lingerie in NYC has always been difficult, but I discovered Catriona Mckechnie store this summer, and she carries the best selection I have ever seen with new designers from Europe, and hard to find swimwear too Merci and the staff ther is really helpfull and nice too. This boutique carries several lingerie and loungewear collections by designers that are difficult to find in the United States, such as Alice & Astrid, Yoba, Aloe, and Frankly Darling, as well as some established favorites like Frost French and Dolce & Gabbana. All of the pieces are absolutely beautiful, and they even sell some handmade, one-of-a-kind items. The design of the store itself is enough to go see one wall is made entirely of gray, textured panels and the dressing room makes you feel like youre in a white cloud. The service was great, and I felt very comfortable shopping there.

Pros: Service, Selection of product, Atmosphere
