This jazz-themed bistro and supper club attracts an urban professional crowd five nights a week. Dominant features in the spacious 7,000-square-foot main room include a well-lit bandstand, large copper front doors and a sprawling glass-top aquarium filled with exotic fish. The striking aquarium, which doubles as a stand-up bar, suffuses the surrounding tables with a moody blue glow. Live music is set for Thursday through Saturday nights, typically featuring "smooth jazz" house band Higher Ground.

Needs Help!!!. My friends and I wanted to try something different than our usually hang outs. Someone suggested Level 88 Jazz, because we LOVE jazz music. In researching the place online, we were all excited about going to Level 88 Jazz. Boy, were we disappointed! Looks are very very deceiveing! On the website, everything looked nice, upscale, and fun atmosphere for the working person. First off, lack of parking, (did not know if our cars would be towed), dress code was too relaxed for a Jazz club (Jeans), food was lousy, service was very very very very slow and could not order your choice on the menu, and there was nothing stating that there was a cut off time for kitchen, very high price drinks. Was this a jazz club or a sports bar, due to the fact that the two big screens in the front were on sports center at all times when the band played.

The only good thing was the BAND!!! We will not return nor do we recommend!!!!!

Okay, for an older crowd- Bartenders need help!. The few times I've gone to Level 88 the music, the live band was great. I'm 32 and I liked the older crowd, although I felt a little awkward when I say my parents' friends there. I was just glad I didn't see white t-shirts and gold teeth!

Oh, If you request a shot of patron, make sure you see the bottle, I think they gave us some Pepe Lopez, for $10 a shot!

The drinks aren't very good, always missing something- they kinda act like they don't care...

I love it!. I came to Nashville with some girlfriends and didn't really know where to go. One person suggested Level 88, I have never been there and I have heard good things about this place. I was not disappointed! The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was laid back and I love that "adults" can go out and have a good time without worring about young kids coming in and messing it up. I am going to suggest that my friends bring me here for my bachelorette party.

Thanks. I would like to thank the staff of Level 88 for a job well done. Last weekend we reserved for my sister's birthday. Our server/hostess was Jewell, and we were quite pleased w/ her service. She made herself quite visible @ all times. The atmosphere was great & we thoroughly enjoyed the live band and D.J. The outside area is a nice set up, and the "adult" crowd is what we really enjoyed. One drawback we found as far as reservations is that all orders are placed on the same tab with a large party. We definitely understand the logic behind this, but it was quite a hassel to divide the amounts each time someone left. Perhaps you can charge the 20% gratuity on individual tabs instead of on one. We would also love to see a bigger dance floor. Overall, we had a good time.

New Years Eve 2006. Level 88 on new years eve! a full house but the atmosphere was unlike any I have seen We felt like it was our first date. The music was in the moment. The food was prepared just right almost to pretty to eat.Menu outstanding, the service was out of this world. two servers there Rachel and Shaylea Both Outstanding, we had enough privacy with dinner but they were right there . No waiting . After the New year came in. The place was hopping . Looking to enjoy a nice Dinner, kick back or some romance. this is a must try for Nashville . HUGE fish tank bar it was very nice.Everything a couple needs to fall in love!You all made our New Years eve so special. Also thank you Miss Rachel you were a delight to have as a server. Happy New Years to everyone at Level 88

As promised!!!!. I selected Level 88 based solely on the reviews here; I was not disappointed. Everything was as promised by other patrons. The ambiance is very nice. The buffet was good, and the food from the menu was surpisingly good! I expected a place with good music and drinks may lack in food quality, but was very pleasantly surprised: the food was awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for a semi-intimate evening. Semi-intimate because it is an open room, but you would never know it is an old warehouse. Dim lights, candle lit tables, happy hour, good music make this place conducive to canoodling. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Grown Folks Place At Last!!!!!!!!!. The Valet service wonderful. The decor FABULOUS! Rich warm colors. Deep Mahogany, Soft Gold, Caressing Cranberry. Very nice linen tablecloths. Votive candles on the table creating a soft, warm, intimate setting. Dim overhead lights that don't distort the overall vibe yet gives it a relaxed feel. The bar that seperates the smoking from the non-smoking section has a fish tank in it and the top of the bar is lit with a soft neon indigo light. The staff is very, very friendly,the servers all the way to the bathroom attendant. The house band Higher Ground can we say is magnificent!!! These performers can blow and are mind blowing. For the DJ that was spinning between sets he is pure energy! There is not one bad thing I can actually say about my exp there.

A+. I have been to Level 88 a couple times & plan to attend many more times. Higher Ground is a wonderful band ...I love the atmosphere. Its about time Nashville got a classy place such as Level 88.

Wonderful Time. I went to Nashville to get away from home and the hustle and bustle of work and responsibilities and I found level 88 jazz club and had a wonderful time. The service and entertainment was right on point (which means good) and my money was well spent. I will return for my anniversary. My wife enjoyed it and you know what? we fell in love all over again just by the entertainment the songs and music. Thanks level 88
