Horrible experiance on my friends 21st bday.
If you don't want to read this, basically they argued with my friend on his 21st birthday still charged him (me, because I'm his friend),said they didn't argue, and then told me to leave when I said I was unhappy with the way they treated the situation.
It is my friends 21st birthday tonight and we went around the few bars that were open on Sunday night, we decide to make Bluesboro our last stop and spend the rest of the night there. We walk in and I ask the specials and ask if there are any specials for 21st birthdays, there weren't, and I order my friend a beer. The bartender brings the beer, we weren't carded at the door, and then proceeds to argue with my friend over how on your 21st your license expires and he is unable to order anything even though his license expires in 2015. This goes on for 5-10 mins, another bartender is included and my friend gets his drink. I ask how much expecting after all of this that he will at least discount his drink and he doesn't I later come back inside to tell him I was unhappy with the service and that they were rude, they tell me if I'm unhappy I should leave and the only reason I'm complaining is because I expected a free drink.
I have been sober this entire time, I wanted my friend to have a pleasant experience on his 21st birthday, Bluesboro made it a point to make his day horrible. If I had gone to any other bar and a bartender argued with me over something that they were clearly wrong over they would have given the drink as a gesture of good will and as an apology for the confusion. Bluesboro decided to argue and yell at me when I showed dissatisfaction. I'm clearly a non-belligerent person and based on the very few people they had tonight they might want to reconsider how many people they act rudely and uncivilized towards.
It's the south, we're supposed to be known for our hospitality.
Worst experience ever!. Bluesboro on the square in the boro is the absolute worst bar/club I have ever been to. The service was ridiculously slow. We have a group of people who all go here every Thursday night for a good time, and every time it gets worse and worse. The managers are very racist. Our highly respected friend got "kicked" out while sitting at a table being very sensible and quiet, decided since it was so warm in that place he removed his over shirt for just a second to cool off. AFTER, he put it back on, the bouncer approached him and told him he needed to "Get OUT" due to briefly broken dress code, which I mind you was NO WHERE posted to inform anyone. As we looked around observing the other customers attire we found there were numberous other "broken dress codes" as well but they weren't on "black" individuals. Then, as the rest of the party asked for our tabs to sign and leave it literally took 20 minutes just to get our debit cards returned to us just so we could leave also. Every time the women went to the bathroom we all returned just to inform everyone that there was still no toilet paper in any of the stalls and hadn't been from the moment they opened when we arrived. Despicable! We all agreed we will never return back to that place whether it be under "new management" or not. Not worth the cover charge!
The best venue in murfreesboro. The Bluesboro has the best atmosphere in the Boro. It is clean, bathrooms are clean. food is good and beer is ice cold. they have the best drink specials in town and the best bands as well. its the only club in town that hosts national acts. The service can be a bit slow only when the club is really packed. If you want a great evening out at a nice club, this is where you should go.
This club is great!. the things that i really enjoy about a bar are the following: atmosphere, service music and if the bartenders know how to pour a drink. Bluesboro has all of the above. It is right on the town square which makes it the perfect little drinking hole.
