What an Awesome Place!!! You Gotta Stay Here!!. If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay and wonderful people who have created that wonderful place...then Rockhaven is the place to go! I have read a couple of the other posts here and completely agree with all except one, and simply cannot understand why ANYONE would write anything but praise and high compliments about this place and Nate & Rhonda. We found their cabin on the Internet and immediately booked it for our fall vacation. We were so impressed when we arrived on this storybook farm, the photos online are great but when you get there, it's even more beautiful than the photos could ever capture. These two people are down to earth, warm hearted, kind, generous and so very accommodating. I feel sure they are this way to all of their guests AND judging from their calendar, you better book a few months in advance if you want to stay, and we can certainly understand why. If anyone writes anything negative about their experience at Rockhaven, I would be the first to say, it must be their own fault. What more could guests ask for??? Cleanliness (white glove clean) beautifully decorated and furnished with high quality items, an extremely comfortable bed, pleasant surroundings, secure, private and quiet. Perfect is the word for Rockhaven! We will be back and we have told all our friends and family about this place.
Home away from home!. We stayed at Rock Haven with Nate and Rhonda September 24-29, 2011. We found it clean and comfortable, without a sign of neglect anywhere. They put a great deal of time and thought in designing, building and decorating, and now they maintain it with true dedication. Rhonda is an accomplished home maker/business manager, and Nate is a master craftsman and grounds keeper. I spoke only breifly with Nate as we prepared to leave Rock Haven early in the morning and never met Rhonda face-to-face, but the cottage and grounds spoke volumes about their values and work ethic. I had no problem using WiFi and the front gate gave us an added sense of privacy and security. We stayed in the Magnolia Cottage that featured a two-person jacuzzi, a very nice pillow-top bed, a small kitchenette, a barbeque and a covered front porch with a very nice swing, etc. The horses romped around and played in the pasture not a hundred feet from our cotttage. The only sounds were the birds, the fountain in the pond and the water fall in the small pond in the backyard, which we had the pleasure of seeing every time we were outside. If you're hooked on room service, vallet parking and being within walking distance of bars and restaruants, then this is not the place for you. However, there are plenty of places to shop and eat within a few minutes drive. We found ourselves calling this place home after long days away sight-seeing in and around Nashville. We absolutely, without a doubt, give Rock Haven five stars!! Nate and Rhonda put alot of love in this place and we consider ourselves blessed to have soaked some of it up while we were there.
Wonderful People, Awesome Place!.
My wife and I found Rockhaven on the Internet while searching for a place to stay for a week long vacation. When we saw the photos of Rockhaven, we fell in love with this place immediately! Not only are the photos beautiful online, but when we got there our mouths fell open, as we took in the beauty of this gorgeous well-kept property. The cabin, "Uncle Pete's" was top notch! It was furnished and decorated with top quality items and the décor was warm and welcoming.
The bed was so comfortable; we slept better than we've ever slept away from home. We found out that Rhonda designed the rentals and Nate built them, both are professionals at their work. These two folks were so friendly and accommodating...always willing to help us with all of our questions. A very nice touch was a booklet that Rhonda put together that was full of information about places to visit, things to do, with directions for shops, restaurants, parks, lakes, and just about anything you could imagine.
We will make this beautiful place one of our regular vacation spots for many years to come. Of all the places we've stayed, this has to be at the very top of the list! Thank you Rhonda & Nate for a wonderful vacation at your place, we look forward to coming back!!

This is a GREAT place to stay. The cottages are clean and nice. Nate & Rhonda are GREAT people they treat you like you are part of there family. You feel like you are home. And you have the privacity as if you was home. You can't go to Mount Juliet Tennessee and NOT stay here.
Great and we have stayed more then once.
Will go back again someday we hope.

When we entered under the large arch the spelled out "ROCKHAVEN" and passed through the security gate, I knew we had found a special place. We drove up the long gravel drive and passed a beautiful pond with a tall arching fountain and it was obvious that this place was kept in immaculate condition. The grounds were manicured and flower beds bursting with color. Our accommodation the first time we stayed was the Magnolia Cottage...such a little doll house all dressed up in Country Victorian decor and so welcoming. We slept like babies, the bed was so comfortable and there was even stars on the ceiling that we couldn't see until all the lights were out, what a neat touch! We have come back every year and stay in Uncle Pete's Cabin in the winter so we can enjoy the fireplace. Both the cottage and cabin have their own very special touches, so comfortable and private. The owners, Rhonda & Nate are so gracious and warm. We love this place and look forward to our visits every year.
