What People Are Saying About Starbucks

In Short – For many, getting their daily jolt of java has become a daily morning ritual, and the cardboard cup with its infamous green label is the close companion of every coffee aficionado. Busy baristas work seamlessly behind the bar, juggling orders for their strongly-brewed drips and signature hot and cool beverages. While providing a wide selection of coffee specialties, pastries and various coffee related goods, patrons are invited to settle down in comfy armchairs and enjoy their favorite brews amid the chatter of the laidback yet caffeinated crowd.
Editor's Tips
- The Extras:
- Purchase a Starbucks customer card and use it to receive fun rewards, like a free tall beverage when you buy a pound of coffee beans.
- Fun Fact:
- The Starbucks logo, a two-tailed mermaid, was based on a 16th century Norse woodcut, and supposed to be as seductive as coffee itself.
getting orders wrong
by bullseeker at Citysearch
I keep having to ask for whipped cream and sprinkles on my frappuccinos lately, and today I asked for a pumpkin spice frappuccino and got a pumpkin spice latte. The kids in there were goofing around. Starbucks is too expensive to keep getting orders wrong. And most of the food is terrible. McDonalds Rules!

DROP THE ATTITUDE!
by msstevemcqueen at Citysearch
You tell them to keep the change, they get an attitude. You ask for an extra napkin, they get an attitude. They drop a water bottle and other junk they have sitting around their tip jar, and if you can't get out of your car to pick up a water bottle that's rolled all the way down the hill almost to the YMCA,, they get an attitude. Stop hiring snotty kids and hire some friendly older people who are grateful to have a job and know how to treat customers right. Thanks!
