Great Food.
I went with a friend last night and we really loved the food. This restaurant is now under new management and has already improved significantly from what it used to be. Note- if you want wine, bring your own bottle. Until they get their liquor license they cannot sell wine or liquor, but that is temporary. If you live in Franklin and are in the mood for good Italian food, you should definitely try Torino's.

I've been to torino's twice in december and found the food to be delicious and the staff very friendly. This restaurant is under new ownership thank god! The portions are generous and the service was excellent. Try the veal.

Don't visit this restaurant!.
We've tried Torino's on 2 separate occasions. The service was anything but friendly. They were downright rude! Kids meals are ridiculous. They are expensive, and there is nothing to it. I got the eggplant parmigiana, which tasted good, but needed to be baked longer--it was much too tough. The first time we were there with a large party, and one of the teenagers ordered an appetizer as his meal. They would not give him a plate for the bowl of salad they brought to the table. They said it was not included with his meal. We had a hard time getting refills on our drinks. The waitress seemed not to be interested in us when we didn't order alcohol. I would not recommend this restaurant, unless of course you like being treated rudely!

Excellent value.
Torino's is an unexpected find in a strip mall in Franklin. I had long frequented the one in Nashville until they stopped opening for lunch. The one in Franklin is not as heavy on ambience, not as heavily decorated, but the food is great, with large portions, and friendly staff. Get there now while it is uncrowded. It won't be that way for long if they keep going like they are now.
