Very disappointed!. Extremely disappointed in SkinRN. I went for an initial consult for tattoo removal and they were very helpful at first. I am very thorough when selecting medical treatment, and since tattoo removal is a serious medical procedure involving many treatments with potential for permanent negative affects on your skin, I asked many questions about the procedure, possible side affects, what the technician's credentials were, etc. The technician answered all questions, and I was very satisfied with her competence and courtesy. So I booked an appointment for about 6 weeks later. Fast forward to the day before my appointment. The owner Theresa called me and said she was canceling my appointment and did not want my business. I was dumbfounded. Why? She said the technician (Heather) and the front desk clerk (Cathy) felt uncomfortable with all of my questions (6 weeks ago!) and "under no circumstances would they treat me". The owner said she had "dealt with people that were like me" and she didn't want to treat me. I am a working professional. I found this ironic since it was their very high level of initial professionalism that showed me they were the type of medical professionals I wanted to treat me. Any professional medical treatment facility should have absolutely no problem answering questions about such an important procedures...one where there is no turning back after you begin the tattoo removal. It seemed they were afraid of me for some reason because I asked in-depth questions about their treatment plan and credentials. Also, to wait 6 weeks until the day before the appointment when I had arranged my schedule, and then cancel, was absolutely unprofessional. I will also point out that their business license hanging at their front desk had expired. Any reputable medical facility would not allow that to happen. I highly discourage anybody from going to SkinRN. Do you really want to have a medical procedure done on you by people that have a problem with a patient asking direct questions about treatment and credentials?
A More Comfortable Brazilian Wax!. I just started going to Skin RN for brazilian waxing and to get my brows waxed. If you're a girl, then you know how getting a brazilian can make you a little nervous, but Skin RN is using some kind of waxing system that's not really wax at all. I can't remember the name of it, but it's more comfortable than wax and I didn't get any bumps after. Yeah! lol.
Awesome Med Spa!. I can't say enough good things about Skin RN Aesthetics. I go here to get my bikini wax and monthly facial and look forward to my visit every time. The business is so charming! They converted a house on music row into a medspa. It's super cute when you walk in and you're always greeted with a smile. The treatment rooms are also bigger than most places I've been to and very private. Hope this review helps! Since I found Skin RN on here, I thought I'd put in my two cents.
Wonderful Waxing And Facials. Actually, I like a lot more than that, but I had to write a quick review about their waxing and microdermabrasion treatment because that's what I get most often. The reason I like going for a brow wax at Skin RN is because they actually take the time to shape my brows to make my eyes look bigger. I've been to too many places that just don't seem to understand the difference between shaping your brows to accent your eyes and just pulling out the extra hairs and leaving your eyebrows looking flat like a guy's eyebrows. Also, the microdermabrasions that I've been getting here have really helped to even out my skin tone and reduce discoloration that I got from some adult acne in my twenties. So I've already written more than I thought I would, but hopefully my experience will help someone else.
I love my permanent makeup. After going to Skin RN for about 6 months for eyebrow waxing and a few facials, I decided to take the leap and get permanent makeup on my brows. Even though I've had the chance to get to know the ladies at Skin RN, I was still a little skeptical and scared. So it's been about two weeks since I had it done and I'm thrilled. It really looks like I've applied makeup in the morning even though I'm not wearing any. I'll be going back for permanent eyeliner soon, but I wanted to leave this little note tonight because my husband made a comment about how nice it looks and I thought it deserved a quick review here.
The Waxing Is Superior. I've been going to Skin RN for about 2 months now for my bikini wax and eyebrow wax and always get great service. For years, I got my waxing done with a hard wax because the strip wax was too painful. But Skin RN is using some kind of new wax that is even better than hard wax. I'd never heard of it before I went there (and can't think of the name of it right now, sorry) but it's so much more comfortable than any other wax I've gotten in the past and the hair seems to be taking longer to reappear. Kudos to Skin RN!
I Love This Place!. I just had my first appointment at Skin RN Aesthetics after reading the reviews on here and I absolutely love it. I got Botox and a bikini wax and the experience was wonderful. The prices are great, it's very comfortable, and the rooms are all very private. I never write reviews online, but had such a great experience that I had to write this one. Very happy with everything I got and am looking forward to going back.
Best Brow Wax at a Great Price. Skin RN is a great place to get a brow wax in Nashville. Great service at a great price!
Cute Little Place For A Facial. Skin RN is such a cute little medispa with many different facials, but my favorite is the VI Peel. I just got it for the first time last week and can't believe the difference. They seem to take a more medical approach than your average day spa. So my vote is five stars!
Best Hair Removal. Best place in town to get a bikini wax and brow wax. I also love my permanent makeup.
