Like the larger, original Red Door in Nashville's midtown district, this laid-back watering hole in the Five Points neighborhood showcases some quirky decor--giant cans of Red Bull for tables, full-size skeletons, a Pabst Blue Ribbon shrine--along with a handful of beers on draft and a no-frills hearty menu. I usually visit on the weekday when I really want/need to unwind. Don't go here for a full meal. It's a bar in every sense of the word. The atmosphere is friendly and the bartenders that I have come into contact with were great!! I love to sit on the deck with my drink and my chips n dip; chilling out.
Pros: Great neighborhood spot, great atmosphere
Cons: Deck can fill up fast

This place used to be my favorite bar in Nashville and it still is on certain nights. The crowd and the bartenders really make or break this place. There are a few bartenders here that are the best in Nashville and a few that are the worst. Additionally, it can get unbelievably crowded, noisy, and smoky. I usually stay away from this place on the weekends and go during the week.
Pros: good bartenders, good atmosphere, awesome juke box
Cons: can get crowded, can get noisy
