AVOID THIS PLACE!!. My husband and I went into the Cresent Store in Brentwood in September. We feel in love with a Lane sectional..proceeded to get numbers from a 'design consult', Michelle. She quoted us $2183 for the sectional and said Lane was having a 10% off sale. As an interior designer myself, I know she was bluffing because all furniture has a 40% markup. She then proceeded to quote us like $250 for a stain guard protection program, $75 for delivery and then tax...for a grand total of $2600. We went to shop around.. We went in on Thursday night at 5:50pm to place the order..we were greeted by a lady who immediatley said 'we're closing soon'...no hello, no how may I help you..just 'please hurry up, I want to go home'..so we complained to the manager about her and left. Last night we went in and my husband got told the sectional was no longer on sale and the grand total would be $3000..so he said no...we went back this morning to talk to Michelle to buy it from her. She said 'I'm sorry guys, that sale is no longer going on'..yeah, right.so we left..When we got home we called the Nashville Cresent and they said the Brentwood Cresent had already called them and warned them about us. Yes, that's right, they warned the other store about not giving us a sofa at the $2183 price they had promised us. So we picked up the phone again, called BF Meyer's in Goodletsville..gave them the part number of the couch that Michelle had wrote down (thank you Michelle!) and they matched her original price, their stain guard was only $150 and we are getting free delivery this Monday..they took our order over the phone and our debit card...Michelle had told us 'the couch was back ordered'..another lie. So as upset as we were with Cresent for jerking us around..we are now grateful..we have the exact same piece of furniture for cheaper and we received better service. So my advice to everyone living in Cool Springs/Brentwood/Franklin..go into the Cresent store...get the part numbers and call BF Meyers!
