We love "My Second Home" and our babies probably see it as their !st home, as much as we use the facility!
Not only does EVERYONE that works there LOVE pets, they are very observant to their individual needs and ours.
Not only do they have a fantastic boarding service, they also offer top daycare, grooming and training services as well! I only wish that they would expand, as we travel 1 hour and 15 minutes (1 way) to get to them. It is definitly worth the drive though, to know that our "babies" are in such loving and caring hands.
As for the previous review of the kennel cough, we have used them for years and have never had a health issue. They have top of the line sanitation systems and the building is always exceptionaly spotless and they even offer tours!!!

I found the staff wonderful and the kennel area very nice but my puppy has been sick ever since attending doggie daycare. My vet said he had 5 cases of kennel cough in his office in the last two weeks and every one of them went to My Second Home. He also mentioned two other dogs having the same bacterial infection as my puppy and they both used My Second Home. I do not want to be unfair but I know I would have liked to have known about these type of issues before I started taking my dog there.

- Cons: Not as clean as it looks, made my dog sick

My babies are very special to me, so when I go on a trip or they need to be groomed I will only take them to My Second Home. The kennel staff has always been good to my Peppy and Molly and I always receive a nice reportcard with a picture to show me what a great time they had!!! I feel that my babies are safe in their care, so I never feel the need to worry. I love the smiling faces of the front desk staff and the way they greet me by name when I walk through the door. I also love the way they greet my babies with hugs, thats a big plus. That lets me know that they take the time to get to know their clients and thats a great feeling. Thank you My Second Home.
