Mafiaoza's Pizzeria and Neighborhood Pub is located in the 12th South District, one block off Belmont Avenue. They offer an extensive wine list and a large assortment of beers and spirits. Their pizza and Italian dishes are made from scratch daily, including bruschette, fried cheese ravioli sticks, calamari, fresh salads, soups, sandwiches, pasta dishes and pizza pies. One of their specialties is "The Mark" -- roasted diced chicken with oven-roasted tomatoes, marinated mushrooms, broccoli and angel hair pasta with a pesto cream sauce.

In Short – This local favorite fits right into its bustling 12South neighborhood. The dining room is spacious, yet intimate. Couples and families watch through the open kitchen as their food is prepared tantalizingly close to their tables. Expect large portions and fresh ingredients on the multitude of pastas, salads and sandwiches. Pizza is the star here, with atypical ingredients including artichoke hearts, ricotta cheese and eggplant loaded onto New York-style thin and crunchy crust.

See and Be Seen

Only go to Mafiaoza's if you are a "see and be seen" person. The wait is never less than 30 minutes. Apps are ok, but I can make better pizza at home. Nuff' said.
The embarrassment of 12th South.

Bad food, foul mouthed waiters and an armed guard to greet you. What else could you want?
TERRIBLE

This place was very crowded on Thursday night. Food was bland and overpriced for the quality. Service was terrible. We waited for our order 40 minutes, ordered salads, pasta, appetizers. I don't think these take long to prep. Side fries didn't have any salt and were soggy. Lasagna was average. Salads are ok. Very noisy, parking is a huge problem. I don't understand why this place is so popular because food and service is TERRIBLE. This is my first and last time @ Mafiaoza's.
Wonderful!

We had a wonderful meal and terrific service. I'm surprized at the negative reviews because our experience was very good and the pizza and salads were delicious. Maybe we hit it on a good night, but it was certainly crowded which indicates that somebody must like it!
Never got the chance

I was invited to attend a meeting of Liberty on the Rocks. My schedule is open and I was looking forward to it.
I checked out the restaurant and their policies.
Since they posted, I cannot carry inside; I will not attend. I do not support restaurants that are anti-2nd Amendment.
Whether I chose to carry inside and not drink, or not carry and drink, does not matter. We don't think alike. I would feel uncomfortable spending any money there.
The owner made his choice.
I made mine.
Ain't America great!
