TERRIBLE SERVICE AND HORRIBLE TATTOO!!!

I went to the Icon shop in murfreesboro for a very simple piece and close to everything was messed up about it. I had to schedule multiple touch up sessions until the tattooist finally said he wasn't going to fix what he had done wrong in the first place! All the lines are very uneven, the shading is splotchy and some lines arent even there! I have always gone to touch of the south for my tattoos but figured I would try Icon due to the reputation they seem to have which is totally false! I strongly recommend anyone considering going to Icon for ANY work to either goto raining ink and let Joey work his magic or touch of the south and ask for James.

Excellent Experiences!

I went to Icon for a small tattoo and my belly button piercing. After that I returned to have my clitoral hood pierced.

The friendly staff took care of me, answered all my questions, and did it all for a fair price!

When I have more money for more ink this is where I'm going!

Ritchie is the best tattoo artist I've seen

Last December, I took a simple outline of a bird to Ritchie, and he turned into a beautiful design. He was extremely helpful and patient with me through the entire process. I usually get a little intimidated around tattoo artists, but Ritchie was really cool and didn't make me feel like an idiot. By far, Ritchie is the most talented tattoo artist I've ever seen, he's doing my best friends half sleeve, and it looks better than a photograph. The amount of detail in his tattoos is unbelievable, I recommend Ritchie to anyone that wants a tattoo, because I guarantee you he will take the time and make it amazing.

I have also gotten my traguses and belly button pierced at Icon and both were good experiences. They're very professional and informative, but maybe a little too expensive compared to other parlors.

Want a great tattoo?

Icon has always done great work for me. I'd been to several other shops across the state for tattoos and piercings before I went to Icon and I can easily say that they are the best at what they do. Always an awesome vibe with great people. I have a great time whenever I go in. Their work is outstanding and the staff is always very friendly and willing to work with you. This shop is highly recommended for both tattoos and piercings.

Best place to get pierced in The Boro!

I had been thinking about getting my nipples pierced for quite a long time and I finally got up the guts to do it. I did my research and found Icon Tattoo & Piercing, looked at their portfolios (quite impressive). When I got there I was really nervous, but I talked to the counter person and their piercer (Seth D) and was assured it wouldn't be that bad. They are very knowledgeable and more than willing to explain everything to you. I have very sensitive skin and allergic to most metals, but they only use the highest quality jewelry available (internally threaded, implant grade) so you're pretty much guaranteed not to have any reactions to their jewelry. Once I got back to the piercing room, Seth was very nice and calming and talked me through everything. The piercing wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be! He was very through with the aftercare and my piercings healed up quickly without any problems. I HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone who wants to get a high quality piercing by experienced piercers.

• Cons: Jewelry is a little more than other places, but worth it!!!
