Amazing Customer Service
by vhomayoon at Citysearch
Due to my sheer laziness, I never have written a review for any establishment, but I really felt compelled to share my view of how wonderful Power Tennis of Cool Springs is. I have visited this location about 7 times in the last 6 months and the store owner, RJ, is extremely knowledgeable and helped me purchase 2 great racquets at competitive prices. She also knows her strings very well and keeps a record of all the strings you have ever used and the tensions....just in case you want a record of what you used in the past and whether or not you liked it. She can string your racquet super fast and she will bump you up if you are in a hurry, like I always am! Their selection of strings, grips, shoes and accessories are also plentiful. I have been to the other local tennis shop, swings and strings (I think thats the name), and let me tell you.....the service at Power Tennis is 10 times better. Last but not least, my friend had a splinter in his finger and RJ even used her nursing skills to get it out before she strung his racquet! I mean, COME ON....thats SERVICE. Ignore the bad reviews....Power Tennis is where its at!

Response to Outoftowners2
by marriedtothemob at Citysearch
As the husband of the "owner" of Power Tennis in Cool Springs, I doubt the situation as described by "outoftowners2" actually happened, for the following reasons:
1) Nobody gets anything free, not even "friends".
2) The merchandise is priced fairly, at Manfacturers Suggested Retail Prices or below, with a significant volume selling at discount of 25% to 30% off on sale.
3) She always greets EVERYONE that comes into the store, and the employees are trained to do this as well.
4) I wonder if your search for a friendly "lesbian bar" (your words, not mine) in Philladelphia turned out to be a better experience for you.
Anyone can be a critic that has too much time on their hands. Someone who would take this much time to write a cheap anonymous hatchet job like this needs to get a life.
