We live very close to Opry Mills and
have looked forward to having more food choices in the neighborhood once again. We arrived by 5:30 on a Friday night and were told we had a 20 minute wait. It was shorter than that. That was the one really positive thing I can say about our evening. None of the staff seemed happy to be there. Every once in a while our waiter seemed to make an effort to be friendly, but overall he was a dud. Three of our four meals came out together, but one was missing. He finally came by the table and said, "Oh, let me check on that." He then went to a computer and spent several minutes there before wandering off and coming back at least 5 minutes or more later to say that he didn't know what happened to it but the kitchen had to remake it. No real apology. No offer of a discount or free dessert. No manager ever came by to see how things were.
Felt that the prices were reasonable and overall the food was good, but the service was lousy! Had to continually ask for water, straws, ice, lemon, etc. Felt like because we didn't order wine or other "extras" we were not given much attention. He was lucky to get a tip at all, since "gratuity" means being thankful for service given and there wasn't a lot to be thankful for. A smile, pleasantries, and concern go a long way to overcome other issues. Johnny needs to learn that...

I use to eat at this location quite
often before the 2010 flood and never had an issue. I have eaten at the Macaroni Grill located at Opry Mills Mall twice now since their reopening and both the food and service have been horrendous! I also think that they raised their prices quite a bit. Maybe to help offset the remolding costs. I donâ??t believe that I will be back.

Performing chefs cook up rustic, home-style Italian entrees at this buzzing family restaurant..
In Short
A boisterous, all-ages crowd of pasta lovers pack this energetic Italian spot, where chefs clad in white hats and red scarves keep diners wide-eyed by showing their moves in the busy open kitchen. The menu boasts family-sized portions of hearty traditional fare, from antipasti, chicken and pasta dishes to seafood, steak and wood-fired pizzas. Signature plates include grilled pork chops, lobster ravioli, and penne rustica with shrimp, grilled chicken and smoked prosciutto in cream sauce.

Amazing Service!!!.
Our server was the picture of perfection. She took the time to explain the history of the restaurant and why she enjoyed working there. Later, she explained menu items for my husband who had never dined in an Italian restaurant before. When our food was mistakenly taken during a restroom break, she had new entres boxed for us without delaying us from leaving. Though it may seem a little crowded at times, we keep in mind that it is inside a very busy mall, but it's well worth the compromise.

Sooo Good!!.
I've been coming here for years. Everytime I go the service is friendly and efficient, while the food is delicious. This is by far my favorite restaurant. The heaping pile of lasagna is soooo good, and the fire grilled pizzas are so very tasty. The atmosphere is fantastic. It's a real treat if it happens to be someone's birthday as a waiter will come a sing a lovely song in Italian to the lucky person.
