Not the same as it used to be...

I am a long time customer to this practice. However, I was very unhappy with my last experience there. It was my first experience with Dr. Ryu. After getting my teeth cleaned Dr. Ryu said that I was going to need a crown, which I was okay with. The hygenist commented, "are you sure?", and he said "well, we can try a resin." According to my new dentist, Dr. Ryu drilled down to the bone to try to fill it. The new dentist said he should have never tried a resin, and should have done the crown to begin with. Well, a week later I called and left a message explaining I was in a lot of pain and would like to be seen. I never received a call back. I called another time. Once again, I did not receive a call back. I now have to have a root canal performed on this tooth, and a crown put on, a $2,000 procedure that I have to pay for because he thought he'd TRY a resin. My new dentist said he is only partially sure he can save the tooth, as Dr. Ryu "drilled down to the bone."

Needless to say, I don't recommend this practice. This is to no discredit to the receptionist and hygienist. They are always very helpful and friendly. However, I will not be returning.
