Customer friendly

Fashion Atelier is a couture bridal shop where you can have a one-of-a-kind gown designed and made to your specifications. Fashion Atelier is always customer friendly. The negative review about inconvinient hours and poor customer service was written by one of the bridesmaids who did not tell the whole truth. She came with a bride and other bridesmaids for an alterations of a bridesmaid dress on 10/10/2008. On 10/23 she failed to show up for her appointment and did not even call with any explanation. We never saw this bridesmaid again. The dress was finally picked-up and paid for on 11/21 by the bride and her mother, who were embarassed for their friend. How sad that instead of offering us appology, this person decided to post such an untruthful review of our business. For a long time we did not know who this person was, since she did not put her real name, but the truth always works itself up to be known. Please, remember that anybody can write a review about any business and many people just like to hurt others to feel good about themselves. We are so greatful for all who found time to write about their TRUE experience at Fashion Atelier. Thank you!

Do not be turned away by a negative review

I strongly desagree with a negative review about inconvinient hours and a bad customer service. It sounds as somebody did not pay the bill on time and got offended about the reminder!? It is also interesting that a person who wrote the negative review did not put the real name, all other reviewers did. I hope it is not written by somebody who is not even a customer of Fashion Atelier. After I saw that comment I had to write my review because Tatyana is the best! She sees people by appointment only and the store is even open on Saturdays. As far as payments: nobody wants to work free! Tatyana gives prices upfront and provides superior customer service. I was in retail business and often had customers who we could not please, no matter how hard we tried and unfortunately they complained the most. Do not be turned away by the negative review. I have been a customer of Fashion Atelier for over 10 years and had custom dresses made by Tatyana and also continue to use her for alterations. You will not find another person with such talent and taste. She is a professional designer and a dressmaker for over 20 years and has won many national awards for her work and has been published in many magazines and newspapers. She does not advertise except by word-of-mouth. Brides from other states and even Canada fly to see Tatyana for custom wedding gowns! She is a wonderful person and I am happy to recommend her to anybody!!!

Truly Unique Experience

Tatyana is truly an artist who performs a craft that is rare these days. She basically sculpts a wedding dress on your body that is 100% unique and made for you. I fell in love with a dress online that wasn't available for purchase anywhere. After I saw it, I knew I couldn't walk down the aisle in anything else, that was my dress. Then began the process of finding someone to make it for me, which was no easy task! Everyone I talked to wanted to completely change the dress so that it was simpler to make, only Tatyana seemed completely capable and enthusiastic about my dress. From the very beginning she was so much fun to work with. She picked out parts of the dress that could be more flattering to my figure, but other than that stuck to the design. The dress came out better than my wildest dreams. Tatyana helped me feel beautiful on the most important day of my life and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind personal experience. She even offered to help reduce the cost of my dress by finding different materials when I expressed concerns about the price. It truly is hard to find professionals so dedicated to true craftsmanship these days. If you want a unique dress custom made for you then Fashion Atelier is the place to go!
