If you love Indian cuizine.... The food is wonderfull! The staff is embracing! The prices are reasonable!

I have been around the world and the "Pit "reminds me of an old school euro eatery.. soooo good!!!

BTW: Excellent beer selection!

Great flavorful Indian cuisine. They offer catering services. I have had a chance to get a taste of it in 2 separate occasions. They offer variety in flavour and richness starting from snacks to desserts. Awesome food.

A surprise in Murfreesboro. As non-Murfreesboro residents, we had driven by The Clay Pit once before but had not stopped because it looked unimpressive as a building. After reading rave reviews, we tried it on our next visit to the area. The food was perfectly spiced, reasonably priced, and the staff make you feel very welcomed. Some may find the cafeteria style a little unusual or the atmosphere bland, but it is worth it for the food!
