I agreee with the post below at prices.... they seem to charge whatever they want. the post below said the cut wasusually 35 and they were charged 45, and i was told today it could be up to 65. I called ahead for a quote on cut and color and was told 55 and up for color and 20 extra for cut. When I walked in I alerted them that I was the one who called in. I was SHOCKED at check out when she charged me 150 dollars, after I'd left a 25 dollar tip. I understand what 55 and up means, but I have never been to a salon that charges 130 dollars for a solid base color, just 1 all over color, just black, not even custom mixed! 130 dollars is WAY too much. Furthermore they tried to say the cut was an extra 25 with color, then after i aksed about the quote I got on the phone they said the lowest they would go was 140. I also agree with the comment below about the woman pretending to not understand... i WILL NOT EVER GO BACK THERE..thought i was saving time and money by not going to my usual place in nashville, but this place cost MORE and the decor is awful, and the staff is rude. The girl who cut my hair was nice, but the other two ladies there were rude, acted like they didn't understand. It is NOT a good business practice to make quotes on the phone, know that client who called in is the one you are working on and not alert them that you charge between 55 and 150 for just a simple base color. I get my hair coloroed often, and have never paid this much. "55 and up" to me and most I think means up to 75-80, 100, even if we're being generious, but not 150. Oh, and to make it all great? They got black dye on my $130 Lucky Brand Jeans!
