Discrimination is rampant at this Mastercuts. I recently applied for a job at this Mastercuts and when I wasn't contacted about it, I went in and asked. One of the employees told me the manager didn't hire me because I am gay. This is not the kind of person who should be managing a store. The manager had talked me and said she was ready to hire me, so she also lied. Please avoid these places owned by Regis Corporation. You'd do better to go to Great Clips or an locally owned salon.

Just Don't Do It. I was able to get in right away. Unfortunately. I have very long, thick hair which almost requires me to have it layered. I usually tip really well because it takes a while to divide the hair into sections to cut the layers and then blend them together a little. Well, this is the first place where she literally grabbed all of my hair, held it in the air, and lopped off huge chunks at a time. It took less than 5 minutes for my whole haircut. I looked like I stuck my head into a weedwacker. First haircut where I actually went home and cried.

Worst haircut and service ever!. I live near Opry Mills and thought it would be convenient for me to find a salon nearby. I have went by Mastercuts four times before and told it would be at least a two hour wait since they only had one person on duty!!! I tried one more time and was able to get in right away. After explaining to the stylist exactly what I wanted (I have very thick and curly hair) it took her every bit of 2 minutes to "cut" my hair!!! When I questioned her about several things she said she did that. Being a hairdresser myself (from another state) I knew better. There was no shape or style or anything to my haircut, my seven year old grandson could have done a better job! I was very disappointed and will never go back!!!
