In Short – McCreary's is the spot to make friends over dinner. This cramped but charming eatery, with its long, communal tables and friendly vibe, is a favorite in Franklin where residents, from 20-somethings to retirees, have made it their hangout. While most of the menu items have Irish-sounding names, there's lots of American grub. The fish-and-chips, satisfyingly crunchy cod filets with thick-cut fries, surpass expectations.

Good little local spot to grab an afternoon beer. They have your typical Irish selection (Harp, Smithwick's, and Guinness), plus a cider, assorted bottles, and a montly special (which has been far from special lately). The food is good. I don't think it has changed since the restaurant has opened.
McCreary's has become a great standby place. Nothing special, just a nice quiet place.
- Pros: The burgers are great
- Cons: The service can be slow

McCreary's is a great little place to have a beer and good food. It's small, but it gives you a chance to meet new people! Try the Salmon salad and of course the fish and chips...yumm!
