Nickel and dimed out of the store. I received a Movado watch as a gift and used the Movado website to locate an authorized retailer so that I could have it sized. The closest dealer was Littman, so I drove over to have my watch sized. When I got there, I was asked whether the watch was purchased there. I told them that I didn't know because I had received it as a gift. The salesperson proceeded to tell me that they could size it, but since I couldn't prove it was purchased there they would charge me $10 a link (so $20-$40 total) to size it. The reason for the charge: if they damaged the pins or the links, they would be responsible and have to replace them. My advice to you: shop somewhere that won't nickel and dime you to death.
