Great Deal!. I responded based on a Pre-Approval I had recieved in the mail. I called the salesperson about a specific vehicle, that the did not have on the lot at the time. I know that my credit has some issues but the salesperson told me not to worry and made me feel comfortable. After about a hour my loan was approved, and the salesperson went out of their way to find me the vehicle that I wanted and made the deal happen for me. I highly refer this dealership to ANYONE! I will purchase there again.
Avoid this Dealership.
After receiving many flyers in the mail I submitted my credit application to this dealership. I was told on the phone by the salesman that I was approved for a loan and that the deal would be no problem with my credit rating. It was a different story altogether when I got there. I was told they had picked out a car for me that fit the needs I had explained to them over the phone... That due to my credit rating and being upside down in the car that I had ( I only owed $2,800 on a car that list for $2,500) that this was the only vehicle that fit into the criteria that the bank had sent them... Well after much haggling I agreed to buy this car that was supposed to be great on gas (gets 18 mpg) and that I could trade in within a year with no problem because it would hold its value... Now that is not even the bad part.
After having this car for over a year and spending on average $125 week in gas I decided to trade it off. I was told by Thrifty that I was upside down and wait another year. After going to another car lot I found out what they meant. I owe $23,000 on a vehicle that I only gave $12,000 for and find out that I had not financed the $16,500 they had told me, but $28,000. I am not sure what I can do about this situation since it has been over a year since I purchased the vehicle, but I can definitely recommend that if anyone else buys a car here they read everything they are signing and ask plenty questions, because you can not trust these people....
bad customer service. when we were interested in a car at thrifty in hendersonville, they wore our phone out calling us to get us to come in and what have you. we finally go in, did buy a car there, and went on our marry way. then we refinance our auto and need a reimbursement on the gap insurance and after holding on two occasions for over 15 minutes before we could speak to the office manager, we were told to fax something in. we did fax what was needed in with a cover sheet to please call us when they recieved it. we let it go for about a week and never heard anything. called there again today, held for 10 minutes and got the office manager on the phone. she shuffled through her desk and said oh yes, here it is at the bottom of the pile. we asked her why she didnt call. she sd. she was the office manager and she was too busy. i said too busy, where is the customer service here. she again said that she was too busy and to check back in three weeks. i couldnt believe her answer. i bet that wouldnt be the case if i was buying another car from there. customer service is so important in any industry but especially at a car dealership.
