Not a nice experience

I would never recomend this place to anyone who wants to try out Indian cusine. My friends and I had a bad experience. The service was bad, seems like the staff there didnt want anyone coming in. Three out of the five of us who ate there ended up having stomach upsets. The food tasted like left overs from previous days.
- Pros: Good location
- Cons: Food was not at all good
Best Indian food in Nashville -- hands down!

I've been dining at Sitar for years and it just seems to get better with each meal. Chicken Sagwala is the best i've ever eaten and the Chicken Peshawri is spicy hot and scrumptous with a nice glass of pinot grigio.
- Pros: Best Indian food in town
- Cons: Rated Best Indian 2007 by Nashville Scene -- now there's a line to get in sometimes
It could be so good

The food here is great! There's a great buffet with many choices that change daily. I love the food here. What is really bad is the place itself. It's small, dirty and you never get a good table, because there aren't any in the whole restaurant! We now only get take out, and only once in a while. Cuisine of India is a much more pleasant dining experience.
- Pros: The food
- Cons: Restaurant is dirty and claustrophobic.
