If you appreciate revolting, greasy filth ("food") and loud guidos fluttering about a small space decorated with obnoxious "Americana" relics and ugly photographs of patrons, this is place for you. This "establishment" seems to attract quite a number of generic, tub of lard Americans whom can barely fit through door. Restaurant is most likely financially supported by money from organized crime. Save money, stay home, drink spaghetti sauce and listen to Frank Sinatra.

I am a pizza lover and have tried every pizza in town. This is by far the best new york style pizza around. Its better than 'the house of pizza', 'pie in the sky', 'mellow mushroom', 'pizza perfect',' new york police pizza', angelino's picnic pizza, etc. Trust me I've tried them all. The only other place that comes close in my opinion is 'Rossi's' in Smyrna, except for the sausage at 'Rossi's', its not all that great. So Sals is deffinetely at the top of my list. You gotta try it! Even though Sal is gone it is still just as good as when he was there. I promise.
Pros: Absolutely the best pizza in nashville
Cons: The calamari could be better
