Great food, great place!

If your in the mood for delicious pizza and dont mind a little wait to get it this is definitely the place. Me and my girlfriend went last saturday during an NFL playoff game and while Vandy was in and still were seated within one minute of walking in the door. Starting off with a delicious appetizer that lasted us until we got our Mighty Meaty thats was absolutely amazing to say the least! The service was was very friendly and i loved the atmosphere i recommend this to any one looking for a delicious dinner!

Mellow isnt even the word...

My experience with this place from the time we walked in the door to the moment i bit into the slice was complete and utter disappointment. We walked in the door and the host said for out carryout order go to the bar. Well one guy was on his cell phone texting and ignored us. The other guy tried to act like he was so busy putting glasses away under the bar that he didnt see us.

Never the less I was still optimistic about the pizza. it took awhile for it to get ready but dont good things come to those who wait. Hecks nawl. Open the pizza it looked wonderful. Tasted the pizza and I just wasnt feeling it. It had a MELLOW flavor that bordered on tasteless. I told my husband it tasted like healthy pizza and if i was trying to be healthy I wouldnt be eating a loaded pizza in the first place.

Do yourself a favor and skip the aggrevation, mediocre/poor service and the regret that you chose to eat there and waste 25 bucks on a boring pizza.

The Pizza here is not what it used to be!

This has always been my favorite pizza place in Nashville. The mighty meaty has been my pie of choice. My family and I went there on 1/29 for an ealry celebration of my birthday. I don't know if they've cutback on toppings as a result of the poor economy or what, b ut the pizza was well below average compared to the high standard Mellow Mushroom had set for itself in the many previous visits. The mighty meaty seemed to turn into the a puny meat substitute. There was far less toppings, and the few toppings on the pizza were all in the center of the pizza so that no toppings were on the outside 3rd of the pizza. I won't say that I will never go back, because I have had many great experiences at this place prior to this poor experience. But, I will be a little reluctant to go next time, and I will probably only give it more more chance. I sure hope that they have not traded their quality for living off of their reputation.

This is the most tasty pizza I have ever had and I have been to a many of pizza places! I highly recommend this place and also the Mighty Meaty! Wished I could be there right now...mmmmm

Where else can you go and get Feta Cheese Pizza slices? No where in Nashville! I love the mellow mushroom for their food and interesting design elements. The crust is amazing and the toppings are generous and fresh. If you're looking for a deviation from the typical pizza chain, head to the mellow mushroom.
