anger can destroy your life.. I am writting this because, it bothers me when a client is not happy,instead of saying bad things about us ,why not talk to one of the owners,give us a chance to make things right.some people are just always unhapppy,no matter what salon they go to or what resturant,mall,or store,yes maybe someone may get a service there not happy with,at least sit down and talkto us abut it,life is to short to be spiteful.and go home and go on line and write somethig mean and hateful,its sad to be full of anger,my advice,sit down and talk,you may make a new friend.

They literally ripped my hair out. Worst haircut I've ever had. Refused to cut my hair the way I requested and when I asked for them to thin out my hair my stylist literally ripped out chunks of my hair. It hurt so bad and left bald spots. When I asked him to do it a different way he said that he knew what he was doing and wasn't going to do what I asked, he said it was showy (at least it wouldn't be painful!). He didn't layer my hair like I asked, he just gave me a "trim" (if you could say that). I was completely unhappy, so unhappy that when they asked me when I would like to scedule my next appointment I couldn't help but to laugh out loud. I shouldve known better when I saw a stylist there that looked like he hadn't washed his hair in two weeks! Definately would NOT recommend

********Pretentious*************. I am trying to be fair here, but I should have paid more attention to what I felt after reviewing their website when I was trying to make a decision on finding a new salon after just moving to the area from NY, NY last month. From the moment you walk into this salon you see outdated pictures of the Tennessee Titan Cheerleaders and other little known people. This would not be a bad thing if the stylist did not make you feel like you are incidental to them. I honestly thought I was stepping back 10 years to high school with the attitudes.

I heard one customer ask for one thing, and one of the owners (who is a stylist) told her that her hair was in horrible shape and he would not do that! I saw her hair myself. It looked fine! Needless to say, she was in tears! I have read the reviews below and it is hard to believe that another customer would be singing the praise of how "beautiful" the titan cheerleaders are. They all have ordinary hair and ordinary appearances. It definitely sounds like something from The Edges website. Just check it out and all you see is Titans, Ms, so and so hasbeen and who is the "Emma" person that write about all the time in the news section? Is she their only regular client? I know I will be finding someplace more comfortable to spend my money at!

As the owner I am happy that they didn't return. We very friendly and educated. Our staff always gives beyond the call which is why we have been in business for years. Do we make every client happy, absolutely not, but every person isn't happy to begin with and we certainly can not make them happy either. I ask of our staff to always do their best, not attempt to be the best as anyone with common sense knows that "the best" is always a matter of opinion. Anger is such a sad thing to harbor!

The Edge Salon has ALWAYS been the best salon for me and my friends. I was recently on Nashville City Search and saw my favorite salon's name pop up and decided to read about other people's experiences there. I was shocked to read the most recent comment. I can guarntee you that the owners were not there and do not know about this. Bill and Charles have both been my stylist for over 15 years and they are great. Bill does have to reschedule my appointments from time to time but that is because he is in such high demand by the country music industry. He and Charles have been partners for I guess almost 20 years and they are both excellant stylist. Charles recently put together the calendar shoot (all the hair) for the Nashville Predators (dancers) and it was beautifull. They also do the Tennessee Titans cheerleaders and we all know how beautiful they are. They and their staff are amazing and I have never been disappointed. DG, the receptionist mentioned, is their niece. I think it is great that they work with their families and they even allow their stylist to bring their newborn infants to work. Debby, there office manager has helped raised Sherry and Angie's children. I feel bad for jmk5jmk because I think she may have been the reason for her bad experience. I have seen people really show out in the salon and I have seen what they can sometimes put up with daily but I know I have never ever been dissappointed. All of my friends and family go there with about 30 people from my office. It is truly one of Nashville's best salons. Jen their skin care person is great also. I recommend jmk5jmk call Bill and Charles. Love you Guys, Worldnashville

Bad Service. If you are looking for personal service the Edge Salon is not for you. They are often overbooked and over crowded. My appointment had to be rescheduled twice due to their conflicts. Although you may make an appointment with one stylist, they may end up having another stylist do your hair. When I complained, they just told me that was too bad. I was quoted a price and then charged more. When I complained the very young receptionist was quite rude. I would not recommend the Edge Salon.

Awesome Color and Extension Salon. First, an enormous applause to the team, Bill, Charles and Shae. I was having problems with my extensions and problems finding someone with experience to tackle those issues. I met with Charles for a consult and he explained what was happening and then discussed what the plan of action needed to be. After a long day of removal of old extensions and new ones put on (so patient you were Shae), I left feeling like a "million bucks". Wow...what an amazing experience from personal service to team work. I can see why they have been voted one of the top salons in Nashville. Their Brentwood location is just as great too!!! I will continue to go there for all my hair needs. Shae is totally awesome and does excellent extension work.

My Experience at the Edge of Belle Meade was phenominal. I went to the Edge of Belle Meade and recieved one of the best facials I have ever had. Jenn is Great. She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. I received an hr facial and a 30 day supply of dermalogica skincare all for only $60. I was so impressed. She also told me that they do regular services on the tennessee titians and nashville predators cheerleaders. If the salon is good enough for an NFL and NHL team, then they are definately good enough to be one of the best salons and day spas in nashville!

Best Haircut I've Had. I got the best haircut I've had at Edge of Belle Meade -- and it was a great value. I got my cut from Earl. The people there seemed very nice and welcoming.

I am Charles' client for life! There is not other salon that can compare to this one.. I'm from Dallas and travel to Chicago and DC. Dallas has a lot salons that are on top of the latest products, services and trends, but they have nothing compared to The Edge of Belle Meade! I will NEVER go anywhere else. Charles works pure magic! He is truly the best in his industry. Not only does he make you look absolutely fabulous, but he truly cares about his clients. I have had several hair "emergencies" and Charles has always made time for me, and I know that is not easy since he has clients at both salons! On the rare occasion that I cannot make it to the Brentwood salon, I have called Sherry, his sister , at the last moment and she is just as awesome at what she does as Charles! This is the most talented, professional and honest group of individuals you will ever want to meet, and I always leave feeling like I did not pay enough for the service I received. I never leave without making another appointment! The moment you walk in the door you feel like you are visiting old friends! Everyone there makes you feel like you are part of their family and they get to know you by your name. Both of the salons are fantastic. From the stylist who work there, to Nancy who makes my eyebrows and skin look fantastic, to Debbie who always finds room for my appointments, these individuals are first class! I just hope we can keep them a Nashville secret because I am not ready to move if they were to ever leave Nashville but I will or I will spend all of my frequent flyer miles going to where they are!! I can guarantee anyone who makes an appointment here and see's Charles or any of the other stylist for that matter, you will leave wishing you had found this salon a lot sooner! The only drawback I can think of is they are not open 7 days a week, but I have known Charles to see clients (me) on his off day too, if he can! Make an appointment. You will not be sorry!

Great Spa Experience. The Edge not only does a great job with hair but Nancy their new esthetician is great. I feel like she really cares and has a passion for what she does. She is one of the best when it comes to waxing and facials. She makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. I would highly recommend a visit to the Edge its not just for hair anymore. I will be back soon.
